No it doesn't.
Spoiler:
- Mini map

- Better driving

- Vehicle customization

- More intriguing story

- Side missions with story

- Better AI.

- Open choice, multi-path missions and story.

- Decisions have impact on story/Pandora

- NPC's talk and have personality like Claptrap instead of having to read text while they say "Howdy there" over and over again.

I happen to know the creator of Borderlands. Not well, mind you, but he offered to give me his autograph if I had any of his games (I don't).

You have to have other people to get anywhere? Funny how I completed it by myself then, isn't it?

Yeah, it gets... dull to say the least once you get to 69 with one character. After that, I sort of lost interest, and didn't want to do it all over again with another character, because there really wasn't any point. And the balancing playing online was silly. If you hopped into a game with a level 50 and you were a level 5, you'd get 7,000 XP every time your teammates kill something, and that's the thing, you don't need to do anything... overall though, I love the game, and am very excited for Borderlands 2.

Every sniper rifle I own happens to be a Jakobs. Since Jakobs rifles are either a dull yellow or red in color, I happen to name any such rifle 'Sunshine' after that John Denver song.
"Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy..."

First time I traveled to Jakobs Cove, I must have popped over a hundred heads before I realized that you needed to activate the relevant quest before you could actually start collecting the 'pudding' for T.K. Baha. So, I shrugged my shoulders and went back to work.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

IGNorant posted their review of it a few hours ago, not sure if I can trust them much, but I'll be most likely buying this game no matter what reviewers give it.

God dangit! Its out... Well, all I know is that I'm getting an Xbox as soon as I can. I don't have a lot of PSN friends and most of them are wusses that only play COD. I got a lot of friends that only play Xbox that also play games I like. So, do any of you know the price of Xbox with good memory?

I live in Europe and therefore the game isn't out for me until Friday. Unless you're this one friend of mine who's taken it upon himself to trick Steam into thinking he's in America and has already played 6 hours. His impatience causes me physical harm.

Yarr harr fiddle di dee?

I kind of want this game and I kind of don't. I loved Borderlands for its stunning presentation, genuinely well written dialogue, gun pr0n and great gameplay, but at the same time it's such a flipdamn grindfest with nothing remotely interesting happening and a story that would do the world a bigger favour if it didn't exist that I seriously doubt I could put up with another one of it. Rocket launching shotguns start to get really old when you're using them to shoot Jason Vorhees for the 500th bloody time.

I agree. Apparently the padded story is fixed, and a lot of those other minor complaints that we all had with the first one have been completely redone.

Try a pistol that launches pistols upon reload. Also, the launched pistol explodes...
