New Life, New World: A Pokémon RP

"Hi, Will!" Bambi said, smiling. "It's me, Bambi!" She waved as she walked toward her friends.

[JVElEven]

The figure closed in fast, and soon took the shape of a rather tired looking elderly man, gasping and wheezing as he drew near.

"What are you doing with the shrine?" he shouted as he entered the circle of stones. "Stay away from it!"

[The-Shadow-One]

Inobac looked at the man. "This is a shrine?" He asked.

[Musicman247]

"Shrine?" Asked Bambi, turning to see the man. She heard Inobac and had conflicting emotions. She was glad to be with him again, but sad that he didn't like her.

[JVElEven]

"Yes, shrine! This is one of the old shrines that us indigenous people used up until we were forced to move south by the colonists!"

The elderly man pointed at the stone, his voice frantic and slightly high-pitched.

"That thing is ancient, and you... Oh... Wait, it's fine... I thought you'd ruined it. It does not make those flashes normally."

He lowered his accusing finger again, looking slightly sheepish.

"Sorry. How did you even find this place?"

Inobac smiled. "Luck." He shrugged. "But I was never very lucky with anyone."

[JVElEven]

Just dusting things off here... Where did I put the 'On' button... Ah, here we go! All hands on deck!

"Luck..." the elderly man said. "Hmm... I guess I should be happy that someone come to look down here. We thought about trying to attract people to it as a tourist attraction, but that would just make a lot of the locals angry. This is one of those shrines they used to have - This one is the Shrine of the Past. A lot of rare pokémon out in the pool."

He stepped off the circle, into the pool, the water apparently only being knee-deep.

"Three schools of rare pokémon," he said, pointing. If the group squinted, they could make out some feathery scales floating about in a large group to the left. In the middle, a lot of yellow dots was shining in the darkness, and to the right a bunch of rounded rocky shapes were protruding from the water.

"I think... Yeah... Since you've made it all the way down here, I think I'll allow you to go out and try to catch one of them. Pick wisely.

"Ooo! Those look pretty," Bambi said, walking toward the glowing yellow group.

Inobac looked around slightly nervous. "What kind of rare pokemon?" He asked.

Dammit, lost the sheet with my pokemon on. What do I have? I think I have three, but I only remember Drillbur and Murkrow.

Inobac shrugged. "The yellow lights appeal to me, but so does the rocks."

"Come with me, Inobac!" Bambi said from her place near the yellow lights.

"I'm definetly drawn by the yellow lights," Will said, "But- I'm gonna go for the rocks."

"Come onn..." Said Connor. "Which one?"

Inobac sighed. "Yellow lights?" He asked. "Hopefully that has ghosts there." He moved towards the yellow lights, his stomach sinking in dread of being near Bambi.

Bambi smiled at Inobac and his rainbow shirt. She scooted a little closer to him.

As Bambi moved towards Inobac, something slimy came to touch her feet.

Connor followed Inobac excitedly.
