Retexturing wanted

Post by wildespace »

Any retexturers out there? I'm using Morrowind Visual Pack Combined from http://elderscrolls.filefront.com/file/ ... ined;56241

I like most of what it does, but the pink-and-yellow mushrooms in the eastern coast regions look too much out of place.

I'm fine with the idea of mushrooms being red on top and yellow underneath, but I'd like the colours to be more dull and weathered. Perhaps a bit like Rafflesia flower:

Could someone please do this for me?

I'm not very good with texture work, but I simply desaturated the textures for the mushroom on the picture you posted. I think it looks a little bit better. Here's a picture of the result:

If that's what you were looking for, you can download the new textures here.

Great work here. Your retextures gel much better with morrowind's color palette. Kudos. 8)

Thanks for your effort, but I eventually decided to use 'shroom textures from Plangkye's Hi-Res Telvanni Textures. They look very mushroomy and fit the environment very well.

No worries. It didn't take me very long and I admit that the textures you chose looks much better.
