By the way, yes, a lot of electronic producers don't do much more than playing one of their songs, and adding/mixing, because they can't, the music is far too complex to be able to do that... unless you're Birdy Nam Nam, in which case, they actually use turntables as instruments, and play all of their shows live. Which is amazing.

I respect the creators of electro and the players of instruments.
Its a bit like the difference between photography and painting; Musicians are influenced and inspired by memories and the world around them just like painters. Electro producers use samples, synths and mix them to produce something new just like photographers capturing pieces of nature and through different techniques can provide whole new viewpoints to an otherwise everyday scene.
I believe both are art forms in their own right.

Well, consider this:

PS3 and PC are both in all caps. Why should XBOX be a hipster?

Well, for starters, PS3 has no games and XBOX shouldn't try to emulate it.

PC has games though, and it's better than XBOX, therefore XBOX should emulate it. Besides, there's no way to know if PS3 is all caps, since numbers don't have visible caps.

Oooh, that's true. But we don't want XBOX to just try to be a clone of PC, do we? That'd just be terrible. I think XBOX should do whatever it wants, starting by calling itself Xbox.
