Hoping for a future DLC which is Shivering Isles like but I guess this Hearth fire is like Battle-horn Castle/Horse Armour, it is there to bring the game forward while a bigger DLC is developed. (If any more are developed?)
On topic, I like the idea, just hope it's not too buggy with all these new functions and features.

Seriously, Dawnguard was a let down? Dawnguard was amazing.
I don't always drink mead, but when I do, I prefer Black-Briar.
I just looked at the official info for Hearthfire again, looks like it was updated that you can buy multiple plots of land in each of the three holds (The Pale, Falkreath and Hjaalmarch). Also the 5 new achievements were added recetnly and I noticed that I no longer have the "Awakening" or "A New You" ones unlocked. Did anyone else lose any of their achievements?
The new achievements have appeared for me (all just 10 Gamerscore? Geez), but I didn't lose any of my already-unlocked achievements. It's most likely just a fluke glitch, and they'll probably appear unlocked for you soon. If not, I doubt it'll be too much of a hassle to change your face and complete Awakening again with another character.
Does anyone know what time (Pacific) the Xbox Live Marketplace updates? It was updated on the website at 2am or 3am on the Xbox.com Marketplace when Dawnguard came out. I just want to buy and download Hearthfire tonight when the stores updated so that it's ready to play tomorrow and I don't need to sit there and wait.

I'm actually kind of excited for the DLC? As much as I like some of the homes and stuff available on the Nexus, I'd like to have more 'control' over building and placing stuff, I s'pose. I really don't need 10 mannequins or 50 weapon racks, and I probably won't need such a huge house with a wife and kid (though that option does sound fun). It sounds exciting and I want to build myself a house for my Dovahkiins (though this is more of an old Sims obsession bleeding through more than anything).
Oh and mounted mudcrabs and tropy room? Perfect for my boisterous warrior ;>
Ha. I stayed up with my missus until 02.30 and then I, stupidly, I've been up since 06.30 :\ she's still in bed! Some people just don't have the dedication...
The Xbox.com Marketplace is being updated right now. It's glitchy as all hell, but under the link for "New Arrivals" I see part of Hearthfire's description. Dawnguard was released a few hours earlier on Xbox.com than on the consoles so I'd keep checking there.
