If anything, PC SMP is easier since you, you know, don't play with split screen :P

You can play with up to seven other people on Xbox Live, so a split screen isn't required. The Raven wrote:If anything, PC SMP is easier since you, you know, don't play with split screen

Re: Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition
also, those people in that thread are stupid. No offense to you, but the PC version is superior in every way. Okay, except setting up servers I guess.

I love the Xbox version, more than the PC version at this point. I just have more fun with it. Have you even tried it?

No, actually most of them don't know what they're talking about.
I could quote more of these, but cba.
Yeah bro, I could just host a small game on my PC right now. Ain't no problem.theres no lag whatsoever and making servers is SIMPLE. just invite in, you can join your friends world as their building
Listed as a positive point. Dafaq, man.Splitscreen!
That's not in favour of the 360 version, yet it's listed as a positive point on a thread about why people should buy the 360 version. wutYou'll get more playtime out of it than most $60 games.
Yeah, except it is.A PC is not a console, and a console is not a PC.
Bwahahahaaaaa! The Xbox version is just as good as the PC version if not better.
Can you play the PC version in 3D?
Failed on all points.I could care less for either skins or mods.
I have a family so I can't spent every single hour on Minecraft.
I have better things to do than memorize a crafting catalogue (or print one out).
I'm able to play regardless of internet connection, etc.

I have to agree about a lot of those points, but I had just made that thread, and expected more out of the Minecraft Forums. You're using '>' wrong. Also, I meant what they're saying is stupid. The PC version is technically superior and they're just pulling stuff out of their ass because they don't like PC gaming.Frost Mage wrote:>people don't agree with you

I haven't tried it, no. I imagine the core experience is the same and overall experience, I just won't pay $60(dunno price) for an outdated version with clunkier controls (the keyboard/mouse allows for more building-precision/easier menu handling with minecraft)
Especially not since I bought minecraft for like...13 dollars for Alpha >_>. Not to mention that updates will probably be very slow for the Xbox (and they're already super-freakin slow for the PC...) and I'd rather just play the current version here and now.

Re: Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition
It's $20. It's on 1.7 as of now, but 1.8 will be coming soon. Crafting is made much simpler. And why is disliking PC gaming a bad thing? Some people dislike console gaming, nothing wrong with that. Some people like to look at a computer screen, others a TV.

Raven didn't say it was a bad thing, he meant that the people posting are biased.
Crafting is indeed much simpler, and I don't like that. The complexity of the crafting system on the PC is part of the fun for me.

Acutally, it's like having Crafting Table MKIII from Technic, just you don't need so much stuff to make it.
it is a mystery

I like the crafting system two, but you get used to it pretty fast.Mars wrote:Raven didn't say it was a bad thing, he meant that the people posting are biased.

Re: Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition
@Spiney Wouldn't Notch be smiling at Swedish Money, as opposed to U.S. Dollars?
On topic, the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition is great. I bought it mid-july and I had a pretty steep Learning Curve. It was hard at first, but now I have an epic Sorcerer's tower and a house surrounded by a cactus wall. I have a diamond pickaxe and I have dammed a river using pistons. Freakin Awesome. I can definitely see myself playing this game a long time from now. It's a deal for just 20 dollars, and if you can't play Minecraft on a PC (SCREW YOU VISTA) this is a option to get into this game.

You don't even have to put your real name, let alone any private information on the internet. You could just use it for Minecraft.

including the fbi or other law enforcement who are putting effort into looking for information about someone and their friends. Sometimes even if you are just friends with a felon without realizing it you can get in trouble yourself.
