Staying in the same "vein" as the last one....

Coaches of black
are watched in the night,
by a man and a woman,
who are in for a fright.

One entertains,
while the other steals,
the guests have started,
their sand-timed meals.

The lady is discovered,
now she is cursed,
dining with others,
whose names are reversed.

She plays along with her host,
and knows she’s been beaten,
then concludes that her name,
means she’s last to be eaten!

Question: What's the girl's real name (not the one she's given by her hosts)?

the girl's name is Heriah, also Known as Lady Tressed, or at least, by her hosts... that's one of my favourite books.

Dang, that was quicker than I expected!

Tressed = Dessert!
Too bad Heriah's an idiot...as she should have thought of it sooner... ;) (especially after Esruoc Tsrif = First Course)

It's from the Surfeit of Thieves book....

You're up Dogmantra!

okey dokey... I want to do this one, although I have to think of a riddle, give me a minute.

Okay, I've got a subject, now for a riddle.

A hole in the ground
in which a piece of wood
can be found
this place can jump rather high
two in it have already died

Lousy I know but it was the first OB related page that came up in Random Page.

Wellspring Cave?

A hole in the ground (cave)
in which a piece of wood
can be found (where you get your wood for the Mage's staff)
this place can jump rather high (Wellspring = Spring Well?)
two in it have already died (two Mages Guild personnel meet their end here)

Ok, here's an easy one....

Two women and I,
down on the farm,
flirt with men,
but do them no harm.

A bit embarassed,
they may be,
but of our crimes,
they will not speak.

I am the leader,
they do as I say,
amongst stolen clothes,
you'll find our pay.

Who am I?

Mind if I take it? I'll edit this post with it when I get one.
another "random until you get something useful":

Four of eight and one of two
Darkness will come to you

pretty tricky, since it's only 2 lines but I might add more if no-one gets it.

The only thing I can guess is Dark Brotherhood Quests given to you by Sanctuary members...

Four of eight (Vicente and Ocheeva each have 4 quests...the Purification is under Ocheeva, but it's really a mission from Lucien) and one of two (one of two non-official DB quests from Sanctuary members, Darkness Eternal)
Darkness will come to you (the Gift of Darkness (Vampirism) of course)

I doubt it's right, but there's at least my reasoning. We'll probably need more to go on here.

Darkness will come to you
Coupled with a tropic tree
Darkness came to me

Now I'm really stumped, as I can't think of anything in regards to seeing a "tropic tree" in Oblivion...(i.e. palms, etc.) :?: :?

Oh, ok, I get the last clue now...(I think)...

Lucien LaChance?

Four of eight and one of two (including the members of the sanctuary, this would be 8 members of your new "family", as for one of two, could be a lot of things here)
Darkness will come to you (when you sleep after a murder)
Coupled with a tropic tree (the black palm/hand, symbol of the Brotherhood-see my avatar)
Darkness came to me (recruits you into the guild)

yes, Caldyn must be right, it's Lucien.

But I think:

Four of eight and one of two

Four are the fingers, the Speakers, and become eight with the nails (Silencers). One must be the Listener, the other finger of the Black Hand. Became two with our Mother :P

So close that I think I might let you have it... It was the black hand.

Four of eight (four fingers on one hand out of eight overall)
One of two (one thumb on each hand out of two overall)
Darkness will come to you (black is dark, plus Lucien comes when you sleep)
Coupled with a tropic tree (a palm tree, like the palm on your hand)
Darkness came to me (when you get recruited by the black hand)

Thanks.
^^Wow, she really does have an Oblivion gate named "Lucien LaChance"...go figure....

Born among many heirs,
he was not well known,
but after killing his brother,
his kingdom had grown.

Ceded to the Empire,
the dead brother's crime,
he took the city back,
and now was his time.

The Imperial forces,
strong in arms and desire,
were quickly depleted,
from the town's arrow fire.

The hero of the city,
his statue proud and tall,
to other kingdoms,
he was example to all.

Who is he?

Note: I may not be on during the holiday weekend, so as long as there's a concensus of someone getting it, please move on with others, Thanks!

Yes, it seems like the answer is Martin Septim, but I can't make the story relationships of this:

Ceded to the Empire,
the dead brother's crime,
he took the city back,
and now was his time.

The Imperial forces,
strong in arms and desire,
were quickly depleted,
from the town's arrow fire.

Caldyn_Blade:

It's Rislav Larich (the righteous)?

He killed his brother Dorald, defeated the imperial army, and his statue stands in Skingrad. It's the one with the man on the horse, with a bird on his arm.
