Metal music can be pretty cool. I used to think it was all bad and... well, the vast majority of it is bad but I would say that about every genre out there.

Anyways, for my least favourite band I'd probably say Queen, because [&@%!] Queen, seriously.

Well, despite the fact that their last album was batcrap.

My least favourite band is probably One Direction. While they are very charismatic, and work very well together as a group, their music is pretty awful. Cliche lyrics, bland music, and repetitive themes make them very, very poor competitive musicians. That alone isn't really enough to make me hate them, but that added to the fact that I hear their poor music everywhere is enough to make me despise them.

I am not that fond of Queen either... I like Stone Cold Crazy and yes, they were pretty good musicians... but that does not mean I have to acknowledge them as the fantastic band they are portrayed as - just because their leadsinger was gay and then died.
Rob Halford is gay too, and alive, but I don't see the public say the same things about Judas Priest as they do about Queen.

Used to like Queen until I enter the sixth form but for some reason everybody in the upper sixth was obsessed with them and you could only play Queen on the stereo. I invested in a walkman and never listened to Queen again.

Bands'n'stuff: Muse - Matt Bellamy's always looked like a scruffy chimney sweep, and that's where he should've stayed. Up a chimney - away from any electric guitars.

All Metal Subgenres Which Include The Word 'Symphonic' Or Could Potentially Include The Word 'Symphonic' - I don't even need to elaborate on that one.

Pink Floyd - they made some great tracks, but the band are just so damn irritating...

Nightwish - or is it Nightstalker? Nighthawk? Nightstick? They used to have a Finn as a front woman. Now they don't. They were a crime against music in either variant.

If this were the "your most overrated band" thread I would be right there with you on Pink Floyd. My brother was/is a Roger Waters fanatic so I've had a fair amount of exposure and I still can't find their music at all pleasing. Back in college one of the groups I hung with were 'hippies' and every time they wanted to listen to the wall I thought, "Oh G*d, I have something else to do"

Oh, completely agreed on just how much praise and attention they get, and that adds to my bias against them.

But, for better or worse, without that bunch of pompous mugs, Radiohead perhaps wouldn't have been quite as Radiohead-esque as they turned out to be. So I tip my hat to The Floyd's influence.

Besides obvious contenders such as One Direction and 100 song writers ft. Rhianna, I'd say Oasis. That is, my least favourite band out of bands I'd listen to. Or Guns N' Roses.

It's either Aiden, Nickelback, Three Day's Grace, or Three Doors Down. Especially since the latter two sound basically identical.

And there's one genre of "music" in brazil they call sertanejo universatário, it has no content in the letter(always saying they are going to get all the women, or they lost a women and are not giving a [&@%!] about it) all the musics has the same rithym( and it's not musically pleasant) and the great majority of the country listen to it... this is a generalization, because sertanejo was somewhat good, but sertanejo universitário...
