Better Werecroc mod???

Post by Svogrehl »

The one in the Lore Mod was just.. well incomplete. It cannot swim, it's hard to control, and worst of all it's just a Daedroth. There is no distinction between it and the Werecroc. Nice effort on the modder but truly it's not that great. I would love to see someone take a better shot at it honestly. I know that Skyrim is all the rage now but I still like Oblivion/Morrowind more. I'd love to see a better werecroc mod released that actually looks, acts, and feels like a werecroc. A Daedroth is a Daedroth no matter what label you throw on it. I know inevitably the werecroc would borrow pieces from the daedroth but recycling the entire daedroth is just.. lazy.

Once you start altering any of the mesh/animations, the difficulty of creating the mod goes up a cliff. As in, it might take 10 or 100 times as long to do, or is probably in fact downright impossible depending on the modder's skills. It might have been a laziness issue, but I really doubt it.
