General Discussion

[Musicman247]

Night, General!

Welcome back, AtoM!

[Stormborn]

Crivens it seems that Musicman has got lost on his way to an RP thread.

[Musicman247]

Wait, this isn't the RP of UESP General Discussion Thread?

[Stormborn]

I treat it as such. However, usually its the home of the lost Pokemon, Ponies or Trains thread.

[ZeRoc]

Hai there.

Hi AtoM!

Well I just landed in Houston... I'm scared, there's Texas out there!

[Stormborn]

I assume that you have acquired a firearm of some sort by now, just remember its legal to shoot people for looing at you funny or breathing an unusual manner in Texas.

Welcome!

[The-Shadow-One]

It's also legal to just go "Yeee haw" all the time with a big hat on.

[Stormborn]

Don't whatever you do insult a man's pickup, thems fighting words in the Lone Star State.

[Gideon Dragontongue]

Gideon wonders if Stormborn and Shadow have ever actually been to Texas.

[HatofMadness]

So I leave my house for the first time today about 30 minutes ago....a undercover cop followed me out of apartment complex, and followed me 10 minutes down the road, just to pull me over for running a do not enter sign.
He let me go after asking if i had any drugs or guns in the car.

These cops won't hold me back.
Now we may come to understand why I doesn';t like authority.

[POMC S117]

Pomcey wonders why yet another person is afraid to use "I".

[ZeRoc]

Just took some steps outside... Gideon, Musicman, how do you live in this weather?! It's like living in a sauna!

[POMC S117]

They use... *puts on sunglasses* suncream.

[Gideon Dragontongue]

It's better down near the border, where Musicman lives, but only marginally so. More of a dry heat.

We're tough. Any other questions?

[Gideon Dragontongue]

As Robert E. Lee said, after going to oversee the Civil War effort in Texas: "If I inherited land in Texas and Hell, I'd rent Texas and live in Hell."

[Stormborn]

Stormborn has never been to Texas unless you count a long defunct chain of DIY/home improvement type stores. I did used to own a Texas Instruments calculator when I was in school.

[HatofMadness]

Authority sits around for trouble to arise.

When authority goes around looking for trouble, they lose faith in humanity. Accusing them of things that they have sat around and convinced themselves that "bad" things are going on.

Without the proper resources, I can do nothing to fight the war, but don't ever think My Mind, and My Heart, is not ready.

Inside of me, in my dreams, i'm sitting on a throne made of cop's bones.

One day, it may come to fruition

[ZeRoc]

Any other questions?

Yes, why couldn't my brother have decided to get married in Utah instead of where his fiancé lives?

[Stormborn]

Stormborn has never been married (hard to believe I know), but as I understand a man gives up all right to make any decisions for himself as soon as the wedding planning begins.

[scribbane]

A nice afternoon of yard work is good for the soul. I recommend it if you haven't done it recently.

[Stormborn]

I have it was torture and I have more planned for this weekend. I was glad to go back to work and have a rest. Damn my internet connections is glaccial tonight so in honour of Texas I'm hanging up my spurs, stetson etc. and going to bed. Happy posting people.

Sounds nice. Love when it's hot outside and you're in your house with a fan on or something like "Ah, yeah, [&@%!]."
