In skyrim, you can read magic tomes, but the magic tome never actually "opens up" when you read it like how a normal bok would. So what might be the contents? thoughts?
Also, what language do you think they are written in
magic tomes?

Re: magic tomes?
I think that the conjuration tomes and maybe some destruction tomes would be written in Daedric with lots of weird Daedric symbolism maybe?

I'd imagine it wouldn't contain any 'normal' writing as I doubt you can teach someone to cast spells via words. Maybe something similar to what you see on the elderscrolls?
I used to be an adventurer like you... then I got a real job... then I got made redundant... then I became an adventurer again... but now I just kill cats.

Frankly, if this modelled the real world, literacy would be nothing less than a practice of magic: the ability to pull meaning out of drawings.
What less is the mysticism of Esbern pulling a story out of Alduin's Wall than you reading this very post on the internet?

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
