Uesp Avatar problems
I can't figure out if i am supposed to crop pictures smaller somehow or what. Either my chosen picture is too big size-wise or data wise. What should I do?

Ask someone to fix it. Whine, and whine, and whine, and someone will take pity.

Re: Uesp Avatar problems
Do you have GIMP?
Open an image, and select the crop tool with Shift-C.
Then click and drag, you will see the dimensions of the square you are drawing on the bottom left.
Make sure it's within the forum restrictions, or at least square.
Then use the scale tool, Shift-T, and click on the image to bring up the resize dialogue box. Click the little chain icon and then enter the dimension in one of the axis, it will scale the other to the same size.
If your image is fuzzy or blurry, apply an Unsharp Mask Filter (Filters -> Enhance -> Unsharp Mask), and play with it to make the image look better.
Save it as either a jpeg or png (png if you have transparency), upload it to an image hosting site, and then link it off site in the avatar settings.
Hope Ed helped!

Ha, I'm just kidding. I just like your username
Try using an editing program like GIMP, or something similar and you should be able to fix up whatever you'd like ^_^.
Or, if that's not your thing, I'm sure there's someone around here you could ask to help you out

Also, if you need any more help other than what everyone else has given you, I have given myself a "Meh!" rating in photo-editing, so if you ever need any help, feel free to drop me a PM!

Re: Uesp Avatar problems
First of all, you probably don't have the proper permissions that allow you have an avatar or signature. Second, the RPG quiz will only work in your signature, since it's too large for an avatar.

Re: Uesp Avatar problems
pixlr is a fantastic program for messing with UESP avatars.
You can edit the image size to your exact specifications (and it even has an option to constrain the proportions for you so you can make the largest dimension 135 pixels big without messing up the picture and making it look stretchy), and you can reduce the quality (if it's not a png) to where UESP won't spit it out if it's too big of a file.

This would probably be considered a necropost, especially considering the thread was originally a question that was answered in the same day
