Wrong. That title goes to Dark Spark, with Doros in second place. Third place is taken as well, but we don't necessarily want to see those posts.

Okay, I fail: I never get places...

I was sort of thinking third was a tie: Scrib, Hat, Leroy, & Believe. I mean, where you have one, there is always the other... right... right...???

I was actually thinking strictly of them because when they drop a new post, its an attention grabber. The third place medal goes to someone who isn't here and we don't generally want here. They may be annoying as all hell, but there's no denying they get attention.

Somebody please save as from advertising gurus. Some retard has just backed an advert for British Airways during the Olympox Games with the Clash's London Calling. Not sure what message they are trying to send with that, maybe they should have listened to the song first. Personally I think they should have gone with Greetings from [&@%!] much more appropriate.

Gah, just tried co-op in Diablo 2.... people seem to love rushing about the place, you can barely see what drops when they do that. Why does no one play this game properly? its no fun when you are seriously under-leveled as a character, with sweet f-all in the way of gear.

It's a classic, of course there are people still playing. With all the hate for Diablo3 it's no surprise... that and not everyone has a computer that can play D3.

I still say Titan Quest beats them all... can't wait for Grim Dawn.

Mate, me and Kalle used to play semi-regularly pre-Diablo 3. Tons of fun when you're playing two and you're just having fun, sharing loot ... keeping at the same level (only play on your chars together)...
Play with a mate, else it's just way too grind-heavy and not-fun.

Too true, that is exactly how I play on Titan Quest. I look for players in the same mindset as me and go from there, problem is that I don't own the original CD key for my Diablo2 game(means I can't use battlenet), so I'm forced to use tuungle which bypasses the battlenet system... which in turn means I can't see current games and have to rely on using IP address's like you would in LAN games(tuungle makes fake Lan servers to make proper internet games).

Another problem is I have no mates that play Diablo2... I literally know no one who does in real life or the internet anymore.

Believe me, Dean, it doesn't get any better when you do play with friends. I have one mate who likes to play as the Necromancer. Lord above, you have not been frustrated at this game until you've tried to pick out your enemies from a crowd of about 20 resurrected skeletons.

They're good cannon fodder for those [&@%!] electric desert beetles though.

Have you got the expansion? the game is twice as fun with that.

Noob friendly classes:
Ranger (Hunting+Nature)... pet wolves, plagues, and bows are fun.
Conqueror (Warfare+Defence) ... tough as nails but boring as hell IMO.
Dream + Anything... Dream being the expansion only class, but has great synergy with just about any other class.
Sage (Storm+Hunting)... best kept as a Str/dex toon if it's your first character.
Spellbreaker (Spirit+Warfare)... aura heavy, can convert attacks into health with pretty common magical weapon affixes.

Seriously, most toons are fairly easy for new players as they are balanced really well. Some dominate the first difficulty more then others, but all can do it.

If you have the expansion we should play, no joke I love this game so much and can help you learn the basics.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. And because as Barbarian I use the stomp attack thing, they all start [&@%!] out lightning and it just turns into a mess.

Anyway I don't have this Titan Quest thingy but it looks like Diablo in ancient Greece and I like the sound of that.

Ancient Greece, ancient Egypt, ancient Asia... and with the expansion you get to go to the Greek Underworld for a 'massive' act.

The maps are not randomly generated, but they are highly detailed which trumps it in my opinion. Also I will say you do not have to farm forever in this game, it's much more 'people with lives' friendly.
