What content does everyone see in Oblivion, long chains of fetch quest disguised as actual dialogue. At least Skyrim doesn't lie to me that it is a fetch quest. It's not Oblivion, sure. But if I want to play Oblivion, or Morrowind for that matter, I wouldn't have paid $60 again. I want something new after five years of hiatus.

Skyrim? Bah, people will be praising it when TES VI comes out. No, while I wanted to play it. Once I saw Battlespire, it dropped a whole lot in my eyes. Neat concept, great from a lore standpoint...Actual execution and performance on older, and even newer modern machines...Shameful.

I find all the TES games I've played have the same weak point in that they can be quite dull at times as they lack a focused story, that being said I do like the fact that you can just wander at your own pace and do what you want to do but sometimes I would like to see a solid single story arc, may be they could make it an optional thing story on or off so your wandering won't effect the story.

Of the three that matter, Morrowind just beats out Skyrim for worst. Visceral combat and the rudiments of a crafting system do more for me than the supposed brilliant wonky deep alien lore, man, Morrowind had. Vivec on a PCP-induced cosmic mind-journey, or whatever.

Pfft, beheading and such was just a gimmick derived from other games.

Morrowind was unique in its setting which is more that can be said for Generic-white-and-grey-mountains-Skyrim.

I assume someone has a patent on beheading in games? They're just adding to the experience. Skyrim, in my opinion, is beautiful, and while not as flashy or distinct as Oblivion or especially Morrowind, Skyrim does a great job of making you feel immersed in the rugged world around you. If I was to classify all three games based on their settings, it would go like this:

Morrowind: Mysterious

Oblivion: Fantastical

Skyrim: Rugged

I don't know, I mean, I love them all so much, and I love Skyrim. They're all fantastic games, so I have trouble picking a "worst" one. I'm still trying to remember back when I first started playing Oblivion, if I was as hooked as I was with Skyrim. My love for Skyrim wasn't immediate like it was with Oblivion, but eventually it came, after around what is now a solid 250 hours of play and running.
