Yeah thats similar to what my theory was , that the daedric princes only have significant power in locations near their shrines on mundus , but sanguine and hircine kinda proved that to be wrong

I go with "I'm Shezarrine, all powerful and can do what I want" theory on changing the future. It makes me feel way cooler. If you believe that then no Dremora could do the same since they are Daedra.

Hircine is the lord of the hunt, his shrine can protentially be anywhere.philfredobob wrote:Yeah thats similar to what my theory was , that the daedric princes only have significant power in locations near their shrines on mundus , but sanguine and hircine kinda proved that to be wrong

And we meet Sanguine in a tavern, lore says that many Taverns and Brothels have icons of Sanguine on them because he is the price of hedonistic revelry, debauchery, and passionate indulgences of darker natures. which would include getting drunk. Tavenrs are pretty much his shrines, along with brothels.
So where is my dream? It is the continuation of reality. But where is my reality? It is at the end of your dream.

Also, it's not exactly like they're siphoning much of their true power into Nirn. Even with all the barriers up, things like possessions and very minor incarnations have always been possible.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Re: A theroy on dragon borns.
Remember what Martin said about them? The Daedra can make little more than fleeting visits to Mundus, the barrier just protected Mundus from what we saw in Oblivion with multiple glowing portals, vast swaths of Daedric armies pouring out, and the Daedric Lord coming out in his true form.
Daedras can visit Mundus, as long as the intent isn't an invasion, from what I understand.
Plus, only Dagon wanted to outright destroy everything. The others just like to mess with the mortals.

I just thought the wall protected against gates, not fleeting Daedra.
Also part of me feels like the Dragonborns are like the Neravarine, in that there's many out there but many either never realise it or never get a chance to discover it.

I don't think it is the same. You are "born" Dragon"born", you aren't born Neravarine. There are many people who can become Neravarine, but no one is born with his soul.Spiney wrote:I just thought the wall protected against gates, not fleeting Daedra.
