People are always going to question the constitutionality of laws they don't like; it's up to the supreme court, however, to determine when such questioning is reasonable, and, from there, to determine if it has merit.Frost Mage wrote:Yes. However, just think about how many laws there are today that could be questionably unconstitutional.Scozzar wrote:You guys are all missing the biggest reason why it won't pass. IT'S IN THE CONSTITUTION lol. 2nd Amendment people!

Unfortunately, they only do that with laws they don't like. Not only does the right do it an ungodly amount of the time with Obama's notions, the left does it too little to the right. If that makes sense.

@Frosty The Republicans usually have a good hold on their members - the Democrats, on the other hand, are usually allowed do as they like. This is how things should work, but when you're up against a party that just wants control (eg. the republicans), and is going to have all their members vote one way, it's very bad.

Ah. A gun will run out of bullets. A sword will never run out of stabbityness.Dark Lord Cam wrote:Another point:
A gun must be reloaded. A knife has no such weakness.
Depending on rate of fire, in ten seconds you would be out of ammo and reloading. Ten seconds with a knife, the attacker will have stabbed you dozens of times and can keep going.
