When a conversation goes too off topic, a new thread is born. So here is a thread for those who enjoy Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Moya Brennan, Clannad, or anyone else in the genre you would like to share.
And if you know me, I am terrible at making starting posts. So that's pretty much it.
New Age / Celtic Music Appreciation Thread.

Well thank you for starting it! I love Celtic music although I don't listen to it often. But Loreena is one of my all time favorites. I just like the combination of sounds and her angelic voice. Same as Enya's. Oh, can you say CARIBBEAN BLUE? Yes!

I am currently listening to the Mystic's Dream. Her voice is so entrancing!

Rendition of an ancient song, written entirely on Ogham stones, sung by Celtic druids before they performed a human sacrifice.

I love Great Big Sea and the Rankins Family... Which are Eastern Canadian Celtic bands.
Though Great Big sea's classification as such is tenuous at best.

It took me a long time to put two and two together in this song to get the reference to the lyric "My my time flies Four guys across abbey road, one forgot to wear shoes"

The Memory of Trees. One of the best Enya songs ever.
