Something I noticed is the lack of a personality section. Is that intentional?

Could be. Personalities could be found out through interaction instead of reading about it. Don't know the intentions of the DM, though.

Makes sense, personally I wouldn't do it that way but I can see why you would do it.

I hope this isn't too overpowered or too long! Also, I'd like to be recruited rather than start in the squad.

Name: Morgan "Boogeyman" Black
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Appearance: 6'2", slightly muscular build, wavy black hair, dark brown eyes, clean shaven, naturally tan skin tone
Powers/Mutations: Night Vision/Shadowmelding-He can blend in with the shadows, becoming invisible to the naked eye, and can zip around in the shade at astonishing speeds, which is frequently mistaken for teleportation/Nightmare Touch-When making skin to skin contact, he can choose to debilitate someone with horrible, nightmarish visions/Sharklike Teeth-When in the shadows, his teeth grow a half inch longer and become razor sharp. He can regrow lost teeth.
Skills: Stealth, lockpicking, unarmed combat (Krav Maga), parkour
Weaknesses: In the light, he can't Shadowmeld, and his teeth revert back to regular, dull teeth.
Items: Black jeans, dark brown t-shirt, dark brown sneakers, black backpack, burglary tools
History: Morgan grew up in an orphanage in Northern Ontario, Canada. He was bullied frequently as a child, and so, largely kept to himself. At age 10, he had still not been adopted. One night, after he had been terrorized horribly by the other children, he simply disappeared, and several known troublemakers at the orphanage were found crying, feverish, and afraid of the dark. Police investigations turned up nothing, and his missing persons case remains cold to this day. Morgan wandered the world aimlessly on his own, stealing what he needed to survive, and educated himself by listening in to the conversations of others, and breaking in to schools at night to study from various textbooks. He has also trained himself in Krav Maga. He has since left for Europe, partly to see the sights, and partly to find a purpose for his life.

You maybe have a little to many powers/abilities. I would say that Night Vision and Shadowmelding, you can keep, then choose one of the others.

Edited. Ditched the shark teeth, though I really did like the idea. Makes him seem more like a monster, like a "Boogeyman". Ah well.

How do you determine "overpowered"? I thought I saw a character that had super stamina and speed as well as invisibility. :|

I'm also looking at skills. If they have a lot of skills and lots of powers, especially if they have nothing to do with each other, then it seems over powered. And can also not make much sense.
For example, if someone had skills like picking locks, hacking, and decrypting and abilities like superhuman strength, superhuman endurance, and superhuman speed.. well they don't go together.

Also if they just have lots of abilities, they can be over powered.

Gotcha. Thinking about joining with a severely underpowered character, like someone who can shrink or turn into a liquid.

But then my guy produces tendrils.

Do mine make sense together? :P I think they do. Sneaky bugger, trying to survive on his own all those years, can break into places for food/clothes/whatever with lockpicking, shadowy guy jumping from roof to roof, messing around with his parkour skills.

@Musicman
Wow.. that would be interesting. But I think he/she should have some good skills. After all, it is suppose to follow a group of powerful mutants. Just not over powerful..

@Baloth-Kul
They do, actually they did before. But there were too many.

Edit: I added ten years to Morgan's age and cleaned up his weakness. Made it shorter and simpler, but still the same thing. In the light, he can't Shadowmeld. Short and simple. Versus my sloppily and illogically worded "In the light, he can't Shadowmeld, but he can still see in the dark, and can still use his Nightmare Touch", or whatever. Yeah. Lot cleaner looking now.
