Similar to the Assassin thread, but about, well, Warriors! Here you can post your characters backstory, adventures, and anything else related to your character. Have fun! I will have an update on my character soon.

Name: Leif Ericsson
Race: Nord
Playstyle: Dragonslayer
Skills: One Handed, Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Block, Smithing, Archery
Descripiton: Very deadly when getting surronded, and uses Archery from time to time.

Backstory: Leif was born on a small farm in Skyrim. However, his father abandoned him, and his mother and sisters. So, his mother decided that a farm life would not be good for the family, and went to Bruma in Cyrodil. Leif grew up there, and the older he got, the more he hunted. Leif hunted quite a bit around his early teenage years, but he had to quit when he had to be the man of the house. Leif had to get a job, so he went to the Fighters Guild. They told him he was to young to join and go do contracts, but they could train him as long as he served them. Leif accepted, and since he couldnt make money off of that, he had to chop would in hi spare time. When Leif was around 16, he was a well trained Warrior, and told the Guild that he wanted a contract. They finally said yes, and sent him to a cave to take care of some lowlife. He told his mother, who was becoming ill at the time. She said to be careful, and he left. The walk to the cave was about 8 miles out of town, so he had to set up camp and rest. When he fell asleep, he started to have these weird dreams where he would hear loud roaring. Leif eventually woke up and went to capture that bandit. as he approached the cave, he lit a torch and walked inside. the lowlie was in there, slowly dieing from wounds. The man asked Leif to kill him, as he wasnt going to make it. Leif said he has a contract on him, and he told him he doesnt care. He just begged him to kill him. Leif was at first uneasy, but eventually agreed to kill him. He finished him by stabbing him through the heart. Leif gave him a little burial, and came back to Bruma, where he entered the gates and passed out. He didnt remember a thing when he woke up, but everyone said he was shouting stuff about dragons. Leif was confused, and as he got older he would have them every now and again. When he reched age 26, he was working for the Countess, who at the time was a very young woman. She wanted Leif to do a job about crossing through Pale Pass and get info on the Civil Disruption. His mother died two years ago, so he acceptd the job. He told his sisters goodbye, as the oldest one was married. He sold their house and told them to live with the oldest ones husband,and told him to take care of them. He said he would. Then Leif set off through Pale Pass, and had a Vision right at the end of the trail. The voices talked to him, and told him he was Dovahkiin. He was surprised, but tryed to ignore it. Then he was caught in the ambush by the Imperials. He talked to a few Stormcloaks, who Leif thought were good people. They asked for his name, and he told him he was Ysmir Lodbrok. As he watched one get executed, he decided that he was next, but then, Alduin attacked, and Leif ( now known as Ysmir), knew the vision was true...

interesting backstory, i like the repeated visions, tho i what happened to the lowlife, how'd he end up like that when your char found him?

That is what he is unsure of. To him it looked like a wound from a sword from a guard that got him, so the lowlife ran away.

Alessia
Alessia was born to noble parents in bruma and from considering her nord heritage her parents trained her in sword and shield combat and archery. She also was the gem in the basket and many nobles courted her when she reached marriageable age, however they were all soft weak inperials and she wanted somebody as tough as her father was. However that was not to be found. When she became twenty she enrolled with the legion and was reassigned to an outpost in the jerall mountains. A week after her reassignment she was ordered to scout into skyrim to look out for any stormcloaks. When she found them they attacked her and she took out a good number before they wounded her and she lost consciousness. when she awoke she was in rags and on cart and framed as traitor. Incensed she escaped helgen with ralof and assisted the jarl and slew a dragon. Still quite incensed she sent a letter to her father and went to speak with general tullius. When she caught up with him she gave him piece of her mind and had herself reinstated with the legion with a nice pay raise.

Back History:
Long ago during the creation of Nirn, an isolated Island was created by the Elven Goddess Auriel. Upon this great Island Auriel created the Phoenix King, the true ruler and king of the Ayleid elves. This King was born with the soul of a Phoenix and was reborn every thousand years to serve Auriel and defeat whatever great darkness plagued the world. With the creation of the Phoenix king, came the creation of the Ayleid race itself. Spread throughout Nirn, only the purest and strongest of Ayleids were sent to reside on the Phoenix King's Island, there they would stay, untouched and forgotten by the rest of the world. Only once an Era would the Phoenix King leave his City to fulfill his duty to Auriel, ridding the Nirn of whatever great Evil has risen. Upon the rebirth of the Phoenix King he would be summoned by Auriel herself and given a task greater than any mortal would be capable of, he would be the chosen savior of Nirn. During the 2nd Era the Phoenix King was chosen to be the Neverar of Morrowind and save the country from the great evil lurking within Red Mountain. During the 3rd Era the Phoenix King was sent to Cyrodiil to end the Oblivion Crisis. Upon fulfilling his duties as the Phoenix King he returned to his great Island, and was once again reborn at the start of the 4th Era. The new Phoenix King was named Caledor and his task would be more important than any of the Phoenix Kings before him. To destroy the great Dragon Alduin World-Eater, and save Nirn from complete destruction.

This is a character I started waaay back in Morrowind, my first Elder Scrolls game, but before then I'd always been wrapped around Warhammer Fantasy and it's in-depth Lore. I'd always been intrigued by the High Elves of the Warhammer universe and their advanced and divine culture so when it came to TES, I started with the Altmer and pretended he was in fact an ancient powerful Phoenix King. (Though TES has no such thing..) In later years when Oblivion was released I continued my adventures as a Phoenix King, putting a halt to the oblivion Crisis. And then most recently Skyrim is released. Though my initial character was a Nord, as they fit in the most in Skyrim with armor and weapons, I recently decided to continue the story of the new Phoenix king; Caledor. I'll be sure to add my new adventures as I progress into Caledor's destiny.

update on Alessia: after trudging to the only town she had never been to in skyrim, she was disappointed at it's size and desolation, of course i'm talking about winterhold, anyhow i ended being that rich benefactor and investing gold to every business possible.

My character was not given an ''elder scrollsy'' name , simply because i couldnt think of one .. so i just named him after myself .. and with no family name

anyways , i havent got a full story yet , so i'll write his basics first :
Name : Adam (boooring , i know)
Race : Redguard (RA GADA !! )
Sex : Male (duh)
Build : skinny at first , very muscular later
Age : his story begins at 14 , he arrives in skyrim at 24
Eyes : Hazel (not sure that spelled right )
Hair : Short , head hugging kinda hair
Facial hair : a little Goatee (by Goatee i mean its on his chin Alone , not his bloody upper lip and his chin , GOATS DONT HAVE MOUSTACHES!!!)
Personality : Naive , but intelligent , and honourable
Equipment : changes continuosly , he favours dragonplate armour by the end , and wields many different blades , among them dawnbreaker
Family : no spouse ,3 brothers and 3 sisters, all more succesful than him (at first ) , dead mother , father lives , uncle visits

buti cant name him either , cause hes not cyrus , and cause Nizars an evil assassin , and i dont want us getting mixed up in the history books

Well , i thought up a wee bit of a story for my Redguard character , though i havent finished it yet , heres what ive got so far :

In the City of Sentinel , in the Province of Hammerfell , there was a young Redguard lad born as the seventh child of a poor family , Born in 4E 178 , his father was not their to witness his birth as he was fighting the Dominion, his father Deserted the Army and headed home after hearing about his wife falling ill in a message from his second son , his first son had left to fight the dominion at the young age of 13 , and had been killed in the fighting , and he did not wish to lose his wife as well , when he returned he found her almost dead ,he asked the preistess who was attemptig to help her what had caused her to fall ill , and was told that she had been sick since the birth of their newest son, he then promised to find a cure for whatever illness she had , he set out in search of a cure , but eventually returned 2 months later , empty handed , and witnessed the death of his wife also , this put him into a deep depression , and he considered suicide , but couldnt bring himself to do it .
The Death of his Wife ruined his entire family , he no longer cared for his life anymore , and his children left to work and support the family , but he no longer cared for any of them , he simply wanted to die , he also grew to resent his youngest son , Blaming him for the his wifes death , and he was not alone in that opinion , all his brothers and sisters did not care for him either , seeing him as the cause of all their problems , he grew up neglected and alone , eventually he was the only child left in his fathers household , his uncle used to visit his father a long while back , but these visits had since ceased , and he had left them with little money , the boy had to work to keep himself and his father fed , and his brothers and sisters had abandoned their father after all those years of working to help him , and headed off for Greener pastures , the boy hated the way he lived and would jump at a chance for riches , and this chance was right around the corner ....

Thats all im writing for now , its not great , but i enjoyed writing it

i dont know why all topics seem to die when i post in them , its extremely annoying when no one responds , drives me up the wall !

thanks for responding though , im planning on writing a big long backstory that leads our merry redguard lad all across Tamriel , and that spans 10 years , up till the age of 24 , when he finally arrives in Skyrim to fulfill his destiny

but when nobody comments , i feel that nobody is reading and lose focus and feel that its not very good writing

at the moment im thinking up the story and studying elder scrolls history and 4rth Era history , so i can properly write the story

the fourth era was mostly about the great war and the dissolution of the empire, not much to write about unless your redguard was a soldier

Nah, he was born after the great war , 2 years before the signing of the stros M'kai agreement , the great war was done before he was born
i may be forced to make up more of my own characters and events ... hmmm
but does there HAVE to be a love interest ? cause im bad at Comedy and Romance writing ..
