Imperial Stormtroopers are not the Empire's generic soldiers. They are the Empires finest, who just happen to have a fatal weak spot that could kill them with one blaster shot... that, apparently, is everywhere. So, the all knowing Ben Kenobi is correct, the blaster burns on the Jawa's sandcrawler were made by Imperial Stormtroopers, not Sand People. Plus, he could of seen that the blaster burns were made from the brand new E-11 Rifles that only Imperial Stormtroopers use, where as the Sand People use Gaffi Sticks and/or 100 year-old rifles that were scavenged from farmers and settlers.

Oh wait, this is the Oblivion Forum? :!: , my mistake.

Cactus; Hula is a States-only service currently, owing to 'international rights' management.

And yup, that's the right order..

Shindig, Our Mrs Reynolds, Out Of Gas, and the aforementioned Objects are my fave slices of Firefly genius. Shindig may actually go down as my favourite individual episode of the whole Whedonverse - and it was written by my fave Buffy writer (after Joss, of course), Jane Espenson. It's all down to personal taste, obviously, and some people loathed that show. I however, genuinely loved it to little bits and pieces. Not as good as 7 years of Buffy - but it probably would have been better.

Alien; That line is famous, or should I say infamous... (I can't believe I'm pointing this out... to a fellow Star Wars fan of all people) I wasn't questioning if or how Kenobi could I.D. the assailants..

(also? I say this place doesn't have enough Star Wars talk.. )

Oh, that sucks. I also noticed it was made by Joss Whedon, who made Buffy, so I think you may be a bit bias in your opinion. Luckily for you Logius popped in and said something too, so I'm slightly more inclined to believe you. Slightly

Me? Biased towards Joss Whedon? If that translates as: "you're biased towards the single greatest visionary in televisual history, a true artist and a humanist" - then yes, you've got me. Colour-me-biased. :D

Well, that's the catch. As great as Joss Whedon is, you either 'get' or 'don't get' his take on things. Doros was a case in point; an intelligent decent guy, who dared to write pages of slanderous, anti-Whedon propaganda on this very site...

So it all comes to down to simple 'like' or 'don't like' - and for too many, it seemed, Firefly was just too unique.

Perhaps it was a tongue in cheek remark about how the Stormtroopers are hardly subtle?

Imperial Stormtroopers
...are the worst trained military this side Oblivion's Blades.
When was the last time you saw a Stormtrooper pull off the kind of shot Chewie used on that Biker Scout in Jedi? Exactly..

Just seen the newest episode, very good it is too! Some interesting revelations about Ben and Sayid in the future, and the smoke monster. No Desmond though. This is, my friends, an outrage.

At least more things make sense after last night's show.
Sayid's working for Ben later on makes perfect sense now.

I can't wait to find out how Ben and Widmore came to be rivals over the island...and whether or not Ben's past flashbacks (as a kid in Dharma) are true memories or just a story he was spinning...

Of course, if I was with Jack, Kate, etc., those folks from the chopper would have been tied up, tortured, and singing like birds about who they are, what they want, etc., episodes ago! :Twisted Evil: Should be obvious that they're civilians and would easily crack info-wise, unlike the Others. Juliet would have been singing ages ago too, hehe...

Nice to see old Smoky again, a.k.a. Cerebus security system...though I'm still awaiting an explanation on how they do that trick...

Guess the next big thing will be the trip to see Jacob... Well, that went so well last time...who knows?

I love Daniel, he's becoming my favourite character since Charlie and Mr Eko are dead and Desmond's not in it as much as he used to be. He's a slightly mental theoretical physics nut with a beard - a man after my own heart.
