Correction: several chickens. Kelemele is a Cochin. We have a few Bantams and Bankivas too.

Looking up the English words for chicken breeds is a pain in the ass..

We used to have some Golden Hamburg cocks, but Kelemele kept getting in fights with them. We sold them yesterday.

Fun fact: two of our Bantams are surrogate mothers for a batch of partridge chicks. Gods, they're tiny.

Congestive heart failure. she was having a lot of trouble breathing. She was to turn 15 in september.. it's still terrible though

This is an awesome thread. Will try to get up a picture of my water dragon when I get home.

ETA: Sorry for your loss Check-Nate. Never had a pet before my first reptile so I never really got it before. I remember the first water dragon I had. The pet store took him from someone who couldn't care for him properly and then sold him to me. His health improved for a while but then I started noticing problems. Took him to the vet and the opinion was that the problems that he was seeing couldn't have been something that developed in the short time I had him. He lasted a few more months after that but then was gone.

Even with just the six months I had Odie the loss was pretty upsetting.

Lets see..... I have a female black cat named lola who is about 2 years old. I have a yellow Labrador Retriever Named Tank who is about 7 years old and i have various fish in my 20 gallon fishtank. My betta male died while i was in europe.

I have a betta at work that has lived a surprisingly long time. I'd love to bring him home and get him a proper tank.

Also, the kitteh: daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww. My heart has melted. So tiny and fluffy and just, just...dawwww!
