Zora
Altmer
Zora was daughter of a middle class altmer trader in the imperial city and worked with father frequently learning how make deals and run a buisness, however being an altmer she also expressed in interest in magic, but one specific school of magic interested her the most-restoration. from age 10 Zora had been learning from secondhand spell tomes acquired for her by her father. At age 13 she began effectively casting restoration magic and was working on mastering basic illusion magic. However one fateful night a thief broke into their house and her father was in anvil working on a deal. Forced to defend herself she used her fathers old imperial army sword, cast a fury spell at the thief and stabbed him in the chest. When a passing guard heard the commotion he barged in and found 15 year Zora crying over the body of a dead thief. Then to make things even worse, the next day her father was found dead on the gold road and the imperial government gave her an inheritance of 5000 gold, all the money that her father that saved up for her tuition for joining the ranks imperial battlemages. Now fully enraged at the cards fate had dealt her she spent some of the gold on a set of light bracers and spell tomes. She also used some of the money to fully restore her father's old sword and after locking up her house took the gold road with the idea of revenge steaming in her hotheaded young brain. When she reached the gold road she found a merchant carriage fighting a group of bandits and she assisted and repelling them. After asking the khajiit merchants about the attacks she learned a small army of bandits was operating in the forests. She then used illusion magic and until every bandit killed each other in gruesome ways to horrible to write. She hen sold of her fathers home and used her inheritance to travel in style to the skyrim border to learn from the college of winterhold. She also kept 100 gold for entrance fees and a carriage up to winterhold. However as she paid the fee to cross the border and began traversing the pine forest she was hit by an arrow to the knee and taken in imperial soldiers. However stormcloaks attacked the encampment and took her hostage and she was knocked out. She then woke up feeling terrible on a moving cart and you know the rest.

Louis was raised in the heart of the city of Daggerfall. His parents were members of the Temple of Kynereth. Learning from the healers at the Temple Louis showed great magical potential and joined the Mages Guild. He learned a lot from the mages guild and began using illusion to control the minds of creatures he encountered in dungeons. He even managed to bring a live nymph to the guild for study. He was, however, eventually expelled for his interest in Necromancy. After leaving the Mages guild he met a Nord woman named Heddvi preaching Talos worship. As he spoke with her 2 Thalmor Justicars approached and attacked them on sight. Louis acted quickly with shield spell and summoned a familiar while Heddvi blocked the attack and countered with her Axe. Louis cast a flame spell to finish off the Thalmor when the guards completely surrounded them. They had no choice but to surrender. Heddvi pled guilty to Talos worship and was executed by the Thalmor. Louis was banished from Daggerfall for killing the Justicars and taken prisoner by the Imperial Legion. They began traveling northeast through the Wrothgarian Mountains and then east into the province of Skyrim. After the long journey into Skyrim the Imperials were ambushed by the Stormcloaks. Louis, hoping to escape, quickly went to the aid of the Stormcloaks healing injured soldiers and raising fallen Imperials to fight for them. In the heat of the battle an Imperial soldier knocked Louis out cold. When he woke up he found himself on a prison carriage bound for Helgan...

Aenrys was born in a small farming village in Alinor, it was a peaceful and quiet place where the people worked hard and cared for one another. But even as a child Aenrys had a gift in the mystic arts. The spells came so easily, without effort he was able to cast even complex spells.... However such power was not tempered with experience, and as such he became a danger to the people, and they to him. When a child was stillborn or live stock died it was he who was blamed. No one not even a powerful Mage-child can live in a village where he is despised and feared. But luckily his way to freedom arrived before the villagers became hostile....

Her name was Earathil, she was a powerful witch and master of the destructive and healing arts.... And according to rumors she was also a child of the night. When she was passing through the village she sensed a power, a power that if unchecked could go dark and consume it's host. She found the boy and asked if he would like to leave the place where he was hated and he agreed......

For a great many years she taught him both of her mysteries and some skills in conjuration..... When he had completed his apprenticeship she offered him one last gift, she told him he would never age or feel the pain of sickness. She gave him her dark gift and wrote down instructions on how to live, feed and procreate as a vampire. With her job completed she left one last note and while he slept gave herself to the sun freeing her trapped soul........

i like the story, but if if your char grew in an altmer village wouldn't he have been popular for his skill with magic?

My lovely Altmer, Sylmirie, aged 90, has a storyline on the "Skyrim characters" thread, but here is the short of it. She was born and raised in Alinor by mage parents involved with the Thalmor. She has a younger sister named Lilliana. Sylmirie and her sister were brought up with prestige and Sylmirie stood out with her magickal talents. She was also popular with the males, just like her mother, for they are both very beautiful. Lilliana was vrry jealous of Sylmirie, and she grew to hate her sister even more when Thalmor agent wanted to marry Sylmirie. Sylmirie refused to marry him but was pushed into thr engagement by her parents. Sylmirie secretly hated the Thalmor. Eventually, Lilliana hired someone to follow her mother around, who was rumored to be unfaithful to her husband. This was proven, and it came to light that Sylmirie was not her father's child. Elmirie, Sylmirie's mother, was arrested. Sylmirie was confronted by her raging father and sister, who told her she was a [&@%!] child and that she was unpure and unwelcome. Then they tried to kill her. Sylmirie barely escaped her life that day, and eventually fled to Cyrodiil. But the Thalmor were after her there, so she fled to Skyrim. The dragon event at Helgen spared her life that day as well. She made it to the Winterhold College where she found refuge and a place to continue learning magick. There, she met a fellow apprentice, Onmund, who she eventually grew in friendship with and they bonded over the past terrible histories with their families. Sylmirie grew in rage against the Thalmor and started to see herself in a different light. Despite all she was raised to believe, she married Onmund, and now they adventurr together. i feel a distinct need for vengeance in sylmirie, i'm not seeing, if it was me i'd be pretty bitter.

Oh yeah, she is very bitter. She was attacked by the Thalmor early on so that added to my storyline. The reason why I chose to marry my characters to the same npc was because I thought it would be interesting to have similar lives but roleplay them differently. Plus he was a face I could stand to look at without annoying comments. Sylmirie's relationship with Onmund is much more stable. I know it is by random but he has only given her gifts and not my assassin. They share much more in common plus Sylmirie is stuck up and self-assured which is much more attractive in a female. She will end up a somewhat evil mage evntually, its a process.

i have a question about your character , why would she flee the thalmor by heading to skyrim ? why not go to hammerfell ?

if she does become evil and she's concerned about her breath, looks and hygiene she would't become a vamp lord

does she provoke justiciars into fighting her, then kick their snotty supremacist arses, i do that with my breton and my altmer, also i'll be posting my breton later

She has provoked them once and the other times she has killed them have been because they were after her. She took great pleasure in killing Ancano though. I want to make it a slow progression of where she acts out in vengeance and hatred against them. I really hope I can continue playing this character through all of Skyrim's DLCs because I like her storyline, but we shall see.

I'm curious too. Not that I should be worried about this, but I'm not sure what I am going to do once I max out my two characters and not all the dlcs have come out yet, considering I am playing the only two builds that interest me riht now.

Trust me, there is many types of builds that are interesting. take this from a longtime TES player who has done basically every build possible.
