werewolves in the wild
The wiki states that werewolves can be seen in the wild, and the ck does confirm this, but has anyone actually seen any? In my 200+ hours ive never see a werewolf outside of Silver Hand dungeons. Where do you find them?

Re: werewolves in the wild
I remember reading that the can't be seen in the wild. Maybe someone falsely edited the wiki and it hasn't been fixed yet? I've never seen one in the wild in 331 hours of play. As for being confirmed in the CK, it's possible that they were left out of the final game, but not removed from the CK, just like Pit Armor in Oblivion.

Re: werewolves in the wild
Ah, i did some more digging in the ck and the use count for the individual werewolves and the leveled list are 0.

Re: werewolves in the wild
In over 1500 hours the only "wild" werewolf I saw was myself after I got surrounded by 6 necromages and 2 elder dragons.
I'm not saying it's impossible but after dedicating so much time into this game and finding squat I call "Sasquach" on this one

Re: werewolves in the wild
I'm excited to encounter the wild werewolves! I've been fast traveling everywhere to speed my progress through the vampire and Dawnguard sides of the centerpiece DG questline, but I'm glad to hear my explorative forays will be that much more dangerous!

I saw two of them, "Vargr Werewolves", I turned into a Werewolf myself and they still tried to kill me.

Re: werewolves in the wild
I saw one he was simply called farmer. He was already transformed when I met him and was hostile. Guess he didn't know I was a werewolf too

I recently came across a hunter in the middle of nowhere, I came up to talk to him and he just said "Never should have come here." While transforming into a Werewolf.

Or maybe he doesn't care. It's not like there's some rule Werewolves have to be friends.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

So it seems that the werewolves encountered in the wild are all feral?

It'd be awesome if they could mod-in, in a later update, some type of Werewolf Den..

Re: werewolves in the wild
I've encountered wild Gargoyles as well, but only as my Vampire Lore. They seem to attack me and have no allegiance.
It reminds me of the new enemies added to the base game in Fallout 3 if you had Broken Steel installed, like Hellfire Troopers, Albino Radscorpions and advanced Sentry Bots. It adds some new challenge to the landscape.

Re: werewolves in the wild
I would actually prefer The End of Evnagelion as my "OMG THE UNIVERSE IS IMPLODING" scenario. Inception was just a really bad rip-off of a japanese film, i forget the name of it though.
BUT ANYWAYS, back on topic.
The wild werewolves thing is cool.
I am kinda [&@%!] that some of the code for wild werewolf encounters was in the base game and instead of fixing their broken code they repackaged it as stuff you have to pay for.

I've met a few. Can't be sure if it's from some mod though. I can tell you though, they're not cool at all. Too fast and too strong :p They make a dragon look like a skeever

Here is a video showing a random Werewolf encounter on the Xbox 360 Console version of Skyrim. This is with the Dawnguard DLC so I'm not sure if it is possible in the regular game.
