Re: Dawnguard.
I think i'm going to get Dawnguard for PS3 first though, I was originally going to get it for PC, but my better characters are on PS3, and I feel more comfortable with consoles.

Re: Dawnguard.
It was a lot smaller than usual. Usually around 4 vampires. Was only 1 master this time.. and seemed like a sleeper agent. Went under the generic name of 'Traveler'. So maybe they become more hidden and rare? I don't know. If this happens more often I'll inform.Crepe the Ashlander wrote:So even when I have finished the main quest them damn vampires keep on attacking....this is beginning to sound more and more annoying by the minute.

Agreed. Now I'm starting to wonder if I even want to buy the DLC. I don't think I can handle fighting vampires and then HEY everyone its an Elder dragon too! Ugh. Plus I don't like the sound of townies dying. Skyrim towns are already empty as is. Hmmm....I'm on the fence suddenly.

If everybody keeps complaining, it will be patched by the time it comes out for the other systems.

Re: Dawnguard.
I've played the past two evening, and I am getting more POed thinking about it. These are NPCs you have been interacting with for maybe 500+ hours, and now they are getting killed off!! The new content is great, but WHY did Beth think they should severely mess with my pre-Dawnguard world??!! Stupid, stupid, stupid!! Once I play through the new content, I will probably delete the DLC and go back to my comfortable Skyrim.Dohvakiin2012 wrote:Crepe the Ashlander wrote:So even when I have finished the main quest them damn vampires keep on attacking....this is beginning to sound more and more annoying by the minute.

Those of you who don't have Dawnguard yet, may wish to consider this before dropping $20 for it.

I kind of doubt that. Do they bother patching DLC?DikaSmausha wrote:If everybody keeps complaining, it will be patched by the time it comes out for the other systems.

Re: Dawnguard.
I think I may just wait and see what happens. We have another few weeks before it is released and I know we won't be getting it now right when it is released. I don't think I can tolerate my Skyrim being empty eff that. I don't even like vampires that much. I just wanted some additional content but I don't think its worth it if my townies are all going to be dead!

Don't worry. Someone will have made a mod that cancels the vampire raids before you press the install button.

Re: Dawnguard.
I just want to put it out there that i have experienced no vampire attacks on cities what so ever. A farm i was passing got attacked, by a master vampire and 2 death hounds, but a single guard and i took them all out no problem, and that was on a new character, lvl 7. Ive been to several cities on my lvl 70 character and havent seen a single person killed by a vampire (other than those i killed myself
)
I have run into several pitiful attempts on my life by the Dawnguard. I usually turn Vampire Lord and toss them all off a cliff with vampire grip

Anyone else who did the vampire side have the bed in (what i was guessing was) the players bedroom show up as owned? I believe its the players bedroom because of the storage, alchemy lab and enchanters table

Yeah, I know what room you're talking about, and it says it's owned on my character too. I'm not sure if it's actually the player's room or not, or just a glitch.rpbraley868 wrote:Anyone else who did the vampire side have the bed in (what i was guessing was) the players bedroom show up as owned? Re: Dawnguard.
Don't avoid getting the DLC because of this. You'll be missing out on too much. Plus, it seems to be pretty random, the chances of attacks happening. I haven't had a single attack happen yet. I don't know how far i am through the DLC, but i'm pretty far i think.

Re: Dawnguard.
NPCs always died randomly in my game, so this is nothing new. Mostly it was dragon attacks or something random.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Re: Dawnguard.
Ok guys I have a question there's a place called Redwater Den in the Rift and it is a little shack and in the shack is a trapdoor and that trapdoor leads to a skooma den is this something they added to the game with Dawnguard? Because I feel like I remember the house but not the trapdoor does anyone know?
