Can't Get Past Menu?

I downloaded DOS from dosbox.com and Daggerfall from The Elder Scrolls site. I looked a a video on how to install it. I installed the game. Now when I try to play I get to the main menu but when I click on "Start New Game" nothing happens. There is no music in the menu and the other buttons "Load Saved Game" and "Exit" don't work either.

Other than that try setting the dosbox cycles to around 32,000. Too high can crash it.

Yeah I've set the cycles to max, 20000, and 32000. I've also reinstalled the game. Now i get a intro with music and lightning then the menu which i still can't get past. Hmm Thanks though

Try the pre-packaged Daggerfall Installer available at wiwiland

Glad I could help! I've used this package for a few weeks now and it runs very well. I especially like that fact that they included DOS32A - a superior extended memory extender that resolves a lot of the saved-game problems.

Now you've got the game working, hope not still umadbro? :p
