Anywhere Between Russia and Japan, and specifically South Korea. My only Asian friend is Korean, we share the same taste... I'd die for practically almost any girl from the east... not old ladies though, unless they were in danger... I'm that devoted... BT-dub, made ramen... with eggs...

That old woman has a terrible wart. That would require surgery to remove.

Assuming it's not Chinese video-editing trickery, it's a cutaneous horn. Like a goat. Apparently it's a rare but medically documented condition that sometimes effects very old women- this particular lady is about a hundred years old.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
So, I never really gave my answer so here it is:
Looks:
I'm really not too demanding or critical of looks so long as the girl takes care of her self. Dark hair (brown) and dark eyes (brown) are my kyptonite. The first girl I was with had this combo.
I do like a skinny girl, but I also like a 'thick' girl as well. Specifically in the thighs and rear (I'm terrible, I'm a sexist, yadda yadda yadda God hates me yadda yadda etc) Girls can be, and often are, too skinny.
Skin color doesn't really matter. I'm a little partial to dark skin but not really. Depends on the girl.
Traits/disposition:
1.) Sanity. I want a gal that is sane. One who doesn't freak out and jump to conclusions.
1b.) I want a girl who can argue without thinking she has the right to throw stuff. Some girls have the audacity to think that they can get in your face, taunt and scream at you and that's ok. Some girls think they can hit you and that's ok.
2.) I look for a gal that has her own hobbies. Something that is a true skill and takes practice. I don't care what it is though; painting, music, whatever. I just want to see that individual personality shine through.
3.) I want a girl who is ladylike.
4.) I want a girl who has intelligence. True intelligence.
5.) I want a girl who has charisma
6.) I need a girl that is not a bs-er. So if something is wrong and I say, "What's wrong?" I'll get a straight answer. Maybe I'm shooting too far for that one!
7.) Oh, and it wouldn't hurt if she shared my passion of world travel.
If I meet a girl possessing all these traits I will marry her on the spot.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
Ehh, I can think of plenty of women who have most of the traits on that list. The catch is they come packaged together with drawbacks... hating to cook or clean, being either far too religious or militantly atheistic, being vegan, being bad with children, being un-punctual to the point of ridiculousness, hemorrhaging money, etc. You know, the sort of things you think you don't care about when you're single, but then when you're in a relationship with them, they drive you nuts.
Or maybe those are things only I would care about, and a bunch of my friends would be perfect for Leroy

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
I was actually living with and raising kids with a woman fitting this description (minus being a "proper lady", neither of us had any illusions of being classy). Unfortunately we both had/have some issues that need dealing with and that sort of... strongly nudged the relationship into ending. Will Zurmacht wrote:Strong legs. Child-bearing hips, full breasts, and angular features. Not an innocent, not a clinger; a woman who appreciates space and knows how to give it too. A strong, independent woman in an intellectual and emotional sense, with her own ideas, who's confident enough and responsible enough to run a household and spend money wisely. A proper lady with poise, manners, and grace, but who also has sharp claws and a sharper tongue.
Obviously I'm describing ideal wife material; the desired traits in a mistress would be somewhat different (though certainly with some overlap).
But yeah, Will's description is pretty spot-on as to what I'm attracted to.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
I don't really have a preference for appearance. So long as they're not extreme - extremely fat, extremely skinny, extremely short, extremely tall, etc. As far as personalities go, I like someone who can think for themselves, and someone fun to be around/doesn't take life too seriously. That's about it.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
Something I hate about partners in general is the expectation that burdens should be shared. This is understandable in extreme circumstances; a death of a family member or friend, medical problems, etc. but it shouldn't extend beyond that. If I have a great day at work, then when I come home my girlfriend's crying and telling me about something awful which happened earlier, it's natural for me to less happy than I was before. I despise that - unless it's something I can change, or she desperately needs comforting, she should keep it to herself. I hold myself to the same standard - the best way to deal with an unchangeable, irredeemable problem is to experience it, and move on. Sharing it and discussing it is just selfish. There are exceptions when the problem is very personal, and should be shared for the sake of intimacy, but the minor things? [&@%!] that.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
There is a large degree of independence to be maintained in a relationship that's not "serious", but when it turns that way, sharing burdens is part of intimacy-- even if it's something that can't be resolved. Even before that point, simply sharing burdens can go a long way towards relief for the person under the weight. Be careful what you are and are not willing to accommodate in a partner-- and I'm saying this specifically to you because I know you-- relationships involve some self-sacrifice. More, generally, the more serious it is. Presenting an irate and reluctant attitude when your significant other tries to relate something he or she finds difficult to deal with is generally not a good idea. If it's something that puts you at too much of an imposition, a sincere discussion should be used, instead, to lay boundaries.
The sharpest word may be uttered with the softest tongue.

Ovaries, fallopian tubes, mammary glands. You find any of those, you got a girl. Seriously, though, it's a lot less messy to identify them from the outside.

I forgot one thing;
At this point in time, I don't want kids. So if she doesn't want kids as well, then that's quite a bonus.
But who knows, I might become one of those scary guys with 14 homeschooled kids.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
This kind of thing happens in barely-friendships. Having a romantic connection with someone means you are automatically one of the go-to people that a person will lay it on because they want you to be involved in more than just the rainbows and daisies of their life. You'll have to go out of your way to find a very like-minded individual if you don't want anything to do with sharing the negative aspects of a person's life, especially as 'seriousness' escalates. Labeling it as selfish behavior isn't necessarily wrong, but it misses the point of a relationship, not to mention that your stance makes your own desire to be left alone about that kind of thing just as selfish as your partner's desire for your sympathy/empathy concerning it.Rhyme Asylum wrote:Something I hate about partners in general is the expectation that burdens should be shared. Give and take, not take and receive (of course, like I said there are definitely people that think like you do and if you can find one you like that'd be aces).
Also, the little things are usually the most abundant aspect of a relationship, especially if you're living together. If they're going wrong pretty often it's a lot worse than if something big goes wrong once.

Re: What do you look for in a girl?
Can't agree with that, what do you think marriage will be like? Can't just keep things to yourself, bottling things is hardly ever the best way to deal with something. It will unleash itself down the road at the worst possible moment, and you will suffer worse for it; then giving them time and listening.Rhyme Asylum wrote:Something I hate about partners in general is the expectation that burdens should be shared. No, wanting someone to be there for you, to be able to vent every now and again isn't selfish, it's human. To be able to confide in someone of their issues is a great sign of trust in a relationship, which is also a vital founding block of a strong one.
I myself have found that simply listening to someone can help them more in the long-run then you'd think. Does that mean your ears should always be open to everyone? No, some people just like to complain, and it's easy to identify those people. Other then that, those you care about you should be there for as they are for you.
If it's minor like, they were cut off, couldn't get a drink, yeah I understand. I just acknowledge it, make a comment and move on, unless it really bothered them for some reason.
