Making it through the last part of the main quest Skuldafn etc without dying. That was big for me on my mage character. Whoohoo go Sylvia!

Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
When fighting the first dragon at the watch tower, i noticed he was flying near the base of the tower, so i did what any reasonable person would do amd jump on its back from above... long story short, dragon backs or slick. Still got a few hits in.

You have easily won this thread.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:I was...the whole fist fighter build kind of depends on it. Doesn't matter much, though. He was a high level version of himself and ate through my health constantly. Not an easy fight. Only used Dragonrend and drank lots of potions.
That is an actual badass picture!Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Was it this mudcrab by any chance?
I'm on my way to Windhelm to join up with the Stormcloaks, Ulfric has the right of it!

Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
I once lured a dragon to the heart of a giant encampment resulting in a mammoth/giant vs mudcrabs vs dragon battle. I then did the shout which summons a fierce/violent lightening storm. This was the first time I had that shout at full power. And 'they' say Skyrim has crap combat.
Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
Did a little dance with a pair of dragons and the town guard found me to be a bigger threat than the dragons. I tell ya, dragons become WAY harder when you have 5+ guards trying to arrest/kill you. Bounty with town: too rich for my blood/[&@%!] jail
And then there was the time I was traveling with barbas and uncovered the beacon of Meridia in Clavicus Vile's shrine. No doubt a dark deal placed the beacon in such a dark place, I took it upon myself to set these daedric princes right.

Hey man, this is no laughing matter. On level 1 I got my behind handed to me by a mudcrab or two, mostly because I kept forgetting which mouse button controlled which arm...but I'm a s'wit, and thus allowed to make such mistakes.Mucro wrote:I killed a Mudcrab once. It took me 16 minor health potions and I emptied my quiver but now I stand triumphant on his corpse.
Am I really the only one who wants to ask how? Casualties with dragons is always such a concern for me, and that's with one. I couldn't imagine four.rpbraley868 wrote:I had to fight 4 dragons at once. Yes FOUR
Deadly dragons mod, and i fought them in Whiterun. A very long battle, very epic. No casualties , civilians nor guards.

Everyone Get Inside! mod. Has a script that makes people run into the nearest building when a dragon is nearby. Except for the guards, but i think one of my mods beefs them up or something. They all kept a great distance and only used their bows. I think i fought 2 blood dragons and 2 snow dragons. Im still waiting to run into an Aspect of Alduin to fightAm I really the only one who wants to ask how? Casualties with dragons is always such a concern for me, and that's with one. Hardest thing I've ever made was trying to keep Lydia alive the whole main quest, I always encounter a Bloody Dragon near the entrance of sky heaven temple and she always die there

Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
I was watching my husband play the other day...he who plays the Nord battlemage hero. He was at the smithing station and Nazeem walked by him and said his usual rude comment. My husband snapped (it was hilarious) and fus ro da'd him across the street. It was pretty awesome to watch his character and Marcurio fight off a bunch of guards....and then after the guards died my husband went DOOR TO DOOR in Whiterun trying to find Nazeem. He was cursing and yelling at the game...I thought it was pretty funny. Finally, he found Nazeem hiding in some corner and killed him.Jygalagg wrote:Not killing Nazeem has got to be the hardest thing I've ever done in this game, that arrogant little sob....
He saved his game. And paid the price, since he lives in Whiterun. Heelarious.

Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
I went to Markarth for a routine drop off of a few goods that I pilfered from a bandit camp. All of my stuff was recently upgraded up to 'legendary'; including my brand-spanking new, shiny enchanted pair of daedric swords.
I hadn't got to test them out; I had just got my smithing to 90 and had recently hit level 53 on my main character. I had never encountered an ancient dragon in Skyrim before; imagine my surprise when an ancient dragon spews a funnel of fire from the sky and lights an entire battalion of Markarth guards on fire.
I spring into action. My archery skills and my destruction skills suck, so I had to find high ground to get a chance at fighting this dragon before it killed everyone in Markarth. I tossed a few ice spikes regardless, just to get a few shots in, and got my frost breath shout ready. I ascended the stairs as quick as I possibly could, reaching the very top of the city just as my flaming foe landed.
Holy crap, this was even more amazing because I had a Final Fantasy music playlist playing on Youtube and the battle theme from XIII started playing. I dodged all of the swipes that I could, trying to land every power attack that I could. The small bit of space that we had to fight didn't help much in mobility, but I was able to dodge enough. I still took the full brunt of the fire breath, but in the end, I got the finishing animation of the dragon. It was REALLY sweet.
The dragon, my first ancient dragon, fell off the peak of Markarth and landed in front of Cidhna mine. I spent his soul on the final shout of Ice Form and during the fight, I got 100 in one handed.
I had an auto save right before the battle, so I loaded that up and saved it. I can now relive the battle any time I want. :DDDDD

Re: Coolest, hardest, most heroic thing you've ever done
It isn't difficult but it is certainly heroic.
Every new character I make, the first thing I do is become Thane of Whiterun and then seek out Nazeem. I wait for him to give me his condescending speech, then I turn the difficulty down all the way so that one arrow will kill him.
That arrow always winds up in his knee and I like to think that he has a slow painful death as he bleeds out on the ground.
I get off free of charge beause I'm Thane and free all of Nirn from that arrogant [&@%!]'s condescension.
