The Hunt of Hircine
Hello, all. This is my first role play I'm making so if you want to help me or correct me in any way, it is welcome. As you can see from the title, this one has to do with man beasts. The setting is a couple hundred years after the events of skyrim, but that really does not matter. There will be two groups of people in this one, the lycanthropes of the wild hunt and those that want to defeat them. The two groups will have different goals and remain pretty separated at the beginning, and if all goes well will perfectly intertwine and one will win in the end. The lycanthropes will have to find the ring of hircine to give them the opportunity to transform at will, and the lycanthrope hunters as I'll call them for now, will want to get the savior's hide and the spear of bitter mercy to defeat the leader of the huntsman. I am not sure what the hunter's drive is yet, and I am open to suggestions. Put suggestions to storyline and/or a character that you want to role play below. I will list accepted characters below. I will say when the official role play is started. I suggest going to the roleplay tips page on this forum if youre new. I know im being vague now, but i will notify you of things you need to know as your hunt goes on. Have fun! I know I will, hehehehehe!
Character sheet:
Name:
Race:
Group(lycanthropes or lycan hunter):
Bio:
Personality:
Rules: whatever I say goes
Be creative
Don't be the invulnerable perfect superhero
Suggestions are always welcome. Put them below! That goes for rules and for storyline.

First off, you need a Character Sheet, A list of Rules, DMs, and etc.
it is a mystery

Dungeon Masters.
Yeah, I would advise being in a few Roleplays before making one.

Wow! Kerr made an RP called Hircine's Hunt a few months ago.

Re: The Hunt of Hircine
I posted this in the General thread, but figured I'd post it here, too.
If you're still going to go through with this you might want to add what game mechanics you will be using. Your character sheet doesn't specify that players need to have any combat skills or even choose a class, and yet it seems there will be combat.
You might read through a few roleplays before trying to start your own, just so you know what others have tried, what works and what doesn't.
DM stands for Dungeon Master, can also be called the GM or Game Master. All that means is the person who is hosting and making all the decisions (usually the creator of the RP).Musicman247 wrote:Hi, Cam877! Welcome to the RP subforum!
We had an RP just recently about this very thing. It was very well done and was DMed by Knight Captain Kerr. You may want to check it out: http://forums.uesp.net/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=29708
I know that he's planning a sequel, so you may not get the response you're hoping for. It's always good to check in the Future Roleplay thread or send a Private Message to Arch-Mage Matt to find out if there is already a Roleplay like the one you are planning.
Again, welcome! And I hope things go well for you!

Oh I'm really sorry! I swear I've never seen that other one. Weird coincidence. I know you probably dont believe me but I swear I've never seen the thing. Great minds think alike I suppose. *sigh* this sucks. I'll probably not go through with this one and instead start another one later. Thanks for all the advice and I apologize again. I will message arch-Mage Matt. Thank you all for being patient and hope to do one with you in the future.

There's no reason not to try this one. It differs from Kerr's in several ways. I would change the name and really play up the Human vs. Lycan angle.

Sound familiar. I feel like i've seen something like this before but i'm not sure where.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?
