''And I heal, confuse, blast, and I can make a pretty potion or two.'' He leaned in closer to the fellow Breton. ''How about we nab this contract for just us two, and leave the others to squabble over the rest?''

Faeric sat down in a chair near the counter and counted his money. "Fifty-five septims," he mumbled, "I'll only last a few more days like this."
He knew he had to do a contract to survive, like all the other men in the Inn.

Sebastian took the contract and walked over to Geoffrey, beckoning for Helion to follow.
''Um. Hello. We'd like to do the Winterhold contract,'' he said, nervously.

Harold's smile broadened as the other Nord approached him and J'skar. "Aye, they are very capable warriors and mages indeed, they excel at ambushes too." Harold informed the Khajiit.

Suddenly Faeric remembered the third contract, and looked over to the counter. It was still untouched. He rose to his feet and examined the lone parchment. Three-thousand septims for retrieving a sword. Six-thousand for killing a thief. That's nine-thousand, he thought with a forming smile.

J'skar's eyes widened. "Is it true? Do they cohort with evil witches?" He asked, feeling dread well up inside of him. He had no idea that they were a threat. . . and from what he had heard, they were backed by evil creatures called Hagravens. Evil magic-users scared him enough in mortal form, but witches in the mountains, along with cutthroat barbarians? Truly intimidating. He looked at Joric, a bit surprised. "Ah, yes! Your skills." He decided that the more was the merrier . . . less likely for him to get sacrificed to Hircine by a hag.

Geoffry looked the two Bretons up and down and shrugged "Contract is yours, be careful, I hear mages are capable of some pretty twisted things." he said with a shudder.

A mysterious Dunmer, tall, hooded, and imposing, approached the counter. "Pirates and assassinations," Qatar murmured, savoring the feel of the contract's parchment between his fingers. "My favorite.

Faeric watched the Dark Elf for a minute, and then approached him. "You seem different from the usual brute warriors and skinny wizards around here," he said quietly.

"Well, there's no naughty pictures drawn on that bit of parchment, so why else would a Dunmer be looking over it?" Casandra pulled up to the bar and looked askance at the Imperial and Dark Elf.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

"I persuade with poisoned arrows, personally. But first things first, let's get this figured out. I need money, and this contract pays well. That's all the motive I need to go retrieve a sword and maybe kill some thief." Faeric said, his eyes darting between the Dark Elf and the Imperial girl.
