Ah, it looked kind of shiny the way birch does.

Either way, very nice! Can't wait to see how it looks when it's all done.

I think I could make one. It would be entirely made of wood and only capable of stopping the smallest of blows, but hey, who uses broadswords anymore?

Yeah, that bugger is actually made to spec. Same design and dimensions as an authentic shield.
