The World of Night

The guards were looking over this. A magi walked to Lucifer. "you truely need to make sure not to anger the vampyres." She muttered. Her demon, a animalistic looking one, cat, bird and insect, nodded and spoke in a buzzing voice. "We do not need much more to make them hate us."

The Drynas smiled. "I simply wanted to see what would bring two like you." He said sniffing deeply. "To our place."

Steve followed as best he could with a faint, "Yes, mistress," passing through his lips. He was nowhere near as graceful as Lucy and had a few close calls, almost bumping into several of the others who were assembled.

Aura was finding it hard to keep her fangs hidden when with these two. She decided to retire to her quarters for now. "If everyone doesn't mind I need to excuse myself now. She had a bottle of blood which was drained from a criminal who commited several crimes of homicde and it was purified from illness's and the like to make it especially delicious. Despite being one of the sun Vampyres were still required to drink blood every so often and Aura needed some right now, dealing with these magi and the like have left her with a splitting headache.

Hastur just sighed. "You should teach her who is boss around here." said Yog. "Just shut up." Hastur replied. He went over to look at the Memie band preform.

Dacey remained silent as Will offered his reply, tapping her foot impatiently as her eyes flitted restlessly over the burlier man face.

The young Lycanthrope was wearing a shabby, worn dark green sweater, over a plain dark red t-shirt and blue jeans faded almost entirely of their colour. She was wearing soft leather moccasins on her feet, which muffled the sound of her insistent tapping.

"Good," replied Will. He was outfitted in a dark grey turtleneck and a pair of torn and ragged shorts. Like Dacey, his shoes were moccasins.

The Memie band was 6 excluding Lucy and Steve, two were on vocals, a duet on lovers eternal, untill The First gave them the gift.. and they grew apart. one was playing a flute or recorder, another the drums and the remaining two were preparing other weapons. Lucy picked up a guitar and handed it to Steve. "Your music is pretty." She said softly smiling.

The Drynas nodded. "Well we expect you to help others of your pack. And the pack will help you."

A Bils slipped into the room with Aura, He hummed in a dark cloak. "Hello? Lady Aura?" He called out respectfully, his voice was liquid, clear and bubbly.

Steve's eyes grew wide, "Mistress, you honor me, but I would only ruin the music being played."

Hastur was smiling looking at the performance. "They are good." he said to Yog. "I guess. I rather other forms of....art." Yog replied.

"Our pack is thousands of kilometres away." Dacey said firmly.

The Drynas smiled. "Your pack is where you are." He said humming. "This may be your pack."

James had at this point finished his plans and decided to return to the party to kill some time I could just ignore the music he reasoned. When he arrived, he started to speak to a magi who was sitting at a table:
"so, what do you think of the...newly revealed threat?"

"They hate us anyway," Lucifer said to the Magi who had approached him, "Music's not bad though."
"Huh the only music I need is the sound of screaming," Umbra rumbled.

The Magi smiled and summoned a small fire. "I will burn this threat to ash." He said simply.

"now THAT'S what I like to hear! To hell with these hunters...we shall feast on their blood!", James said enthusiastically.

[Eltee]

"Until there is a reason for me to respect the alpha, and before there is trust, there is no pack." Dacey said, scowling.

"So Annem, what do you think of these 'hunters'?" Lucifer asked.

The Drynas, stifled a smile. "Do you know who the Alpha would be?" He asked.

Lucy raised her eyebrow. "Come on." She muttered softly into Steves ear. "If you do I'll sing with you. What kind of music do you know?"

"I can play anything you would like, Mistress," Steve said, taking the guitar and brushing his thumb over the strings one by one, listening to the intervals between pitches that would tell him whether the strings were in tune or not. He was excited at the thought of Lucy singing with him.

"Unless it's Kittos, I don't have a damned clue." Dacey said forcibly. "And even if it was Lycaeon himself, just because I owe him my loyalty doesn't make me a part of his pack."

"ah, but y'can't eat ash can you?" James replied.

"That we shall," Lucifer said, "Now what about you- what do you think of them?"

"No others," added Will, crossing his arms.
