Playstyle information
We should start a Skyrim:Playstyle page on the UESP Wiki. We need people to know their aid, not blindly smith until Daedric.
The others rejected as I saw it but I want to hear your noble opinions.
P.S. if you're just undoing my contributions to the UESP Wiki like every other... shall we say pest or person? If so you may mind your own business.
Now tell me your noble or pesting opinions.

Re: Playstyle information
Well, for a start its going to be an 'awfully ambiguous and opinionated page' (read: those that get the most edits and are just a wash with useless tid bits of information). I also don't see a need for it, what does it fulfill - if people want to read about play styles they look on forums for such threads and/or roleplays.
I'm inclined to agree with the ''others'', in which here on the forums or in your own userspace is the best place for (what is essentially) your own opinions/views on how to play a game. If enough people write these 'guides' we can create a central list page like the one for fan-fiction.

Re: Playstyle information
We don't want roleplaying guides on the wiki, and the only reason the Oblivion one is still (partly) there is because of some slight opposition to its deletion. Coming to the forums won't change the opinion of the wiki's editors.
For anyone who's interested, the original response to this suggestion can be seen here, and I'd suggest that it should be continued there instead of on the forums.

Re: Playstyle information
The others said I should continue this on the forums.
And you are ignorant. I said playstyle, not roleplaying.

Re: Playstyle information
I'd appreciate it if you refrained from calling any users ignorant, it does not make your case stronger in any way and only serves to lower our impressions of you as a person.
To get to the point of being told to continue this here, you weren't - actually - you were told this would be a better place for putting your proposed information not to discuss this here. And, I don't know what you hope to achieve here - since any form of discussion about a specific detail of the wiki should take place there (as Legoless said above).
Also, i'll point out to you that the only people to answer queries in this section of the forums are those of us on the wiki - so trying to get a different audience by coming here didn't really work out in the first place.

Re: Playstyle information
You mean you want me banned?
Since May all my contributions have been undone and all my suggestions rejected. Not the lessest my topics seems to have been the poorest visited with newer topics having far more replies and views in shorter time. UESP is becoming unfriendly and hating to my kind. I hate you back. Greatest is your spambot page because you have to be overfancy just to post links to spambots.
It won't be long before I leave this damned forum and your stupid wiki.

You haven't done anything.
Your fancy titles and ranks are as well dumb.

Re: Playstyle information
Please ban him Avron, insulting the titles and ranks is one thing, but then saying the High Queen has done nothing is just going too far.
And don't forget the fact that he was being disrespectful, Insultive, etc.

If by "Your kind" you mean annoying, immature people, then yes. We generally dislike those kind of people.SFK363 wrote:You mean you want me banned?

Also, what the hell are you whining about? People take a while to reply to your posts? Other pages get more views?

Re: Playstyle information
Sorry you all had to sit through that. Thank you to everyone who didn't lose their temper. I think we can call this subject closed and this user gone. Again.
There shall be no bad attitudes or insulting people on UESP, be it the forums or the wiki. No one wants to keep bad company.
