Doctor Who - A Wound in Time

[Kerr]

"Thanks." said Theta. She got up and wandered down the hallway. She didn't even bother taking her clothes off. She just collapsed on a bed and was asleep in minutes.

After a few more hours, the Doctor was forced to make the TARDIS visible again. As soon as he did, Theta was thrown off the bed as the Dalek fighters opened fire.

[Kerr]

Theta struggled to her feet. She ran back to the control room. "What is going on?" she asked.

"i had to make us visible again. It was draining too much power! Simon, Theta, you take over! I'm going to see what I can do!"

[Gandalf]

Simon sat up. "Wha-what happened?" Regaining his senses, he said; "Take over?! How in the hell am I supposed to do that?!"

"Just... Just keep randomly tapping hte buttons!" he shouted, putting hte Screwdriver between his teeth and climbing up a ladder.

[Gandalf]

"Gaah! Theta, can you do it?!"

The Doctor had reached into a small ventilation shaft and began to crawl through it. Wires draped the metal plates. Some were frayed and sparking.

"What happened?" he asked his TARDIS, trying to fix the wires.

The skiff fired some more lasers at the TARDIS. Zooming quickly, they missed the TARDIS by inches and hit te Dalek fighters. The Daleks stopped firing at the TARDIS and began to bombard the skiff. They approached a planet. A laser struck the skiff's engine and it began to fall towards the planet, burning intensely. The TARDIS followed.

There was a large plume of smoke as the skiff struck the ground, sending ash and bits of metal into the air. The TARDIS crashed. landgn in the mud. Everyone on board was thrown to the ground.

[Gandalf]

As Simon fell, a faint "argh" was heard. He sat up, rubbing the back of his head AGAIN. "What happened?" he asked, disorientated.

The Doctor fell from the ladder and landed on his back. "Ouch!"

He struggled to his feet and stumbled over to the console. He looked in the screen.

"We're on the planet Vrshy. Home to the Yrty, a race that don't have vowels in their language. It's oxygen-rich, toxin-low but the sun is blasting it with radiation. You're going to have to wear protective suits. Simon, get them!"

[Gandalf]

"Again, with the finding of stuff! Where are they?"

[POMC S117]

"The place where you got the suit. It should be an orange space suit."

[Gandalf]

"Well, of course it is..." Simon muttered to himself as he ran to the wardrobe. He grabbed three of the space-suits and threw one at the Doctor, one at Theta, and put the last over his own clothing.

They clambered into their suits. The Doctor threw open the doors. Bright beams of light shone into the TARDIS like rays from heaven.

"Well, would you look at that! The Triple Suns of the Ytry System!" he smiled, "Alons-y."

The ash from the skiff slowly marched upwards like a Roman cohort, blocking out the suns. The skiff could be seen, splayed out along the valley, wreckage strewn like a long path of metal. They trudged down a muddy hill towards the skiff. As they neared it, they were enveloped in smoke.

"Try and find a door!"

[Gandalf]

Simon looked around, searching for a door, or a rip in the ship's armour.

There was a large panel hanging loose from the ship's chassis. Smoke was billowing from it.

[Gandalf]

"Doctor! Theta! Over here! There's a gap... thing!"

[POMC S117]

The Doctor ran over. It was large enough for them to pass through.

"What are we waiting for?" he asked, entering the ship.

[Gandalf]

"How about you to not run in blindly?" Simon called after him, following through the gap.

[POMC S117]

Suddenly, the ship, which was already at a precarious position, tilted, slipping onto its sidde, sealing up the gap leaving Theta outside. The Doctor and Simon were pushed into the wall. A pole began to fall towards Simon.

[Gandalf]

"Sh*t!" Simon began to roll out of the way.

[POMC S117]

The flaming pole missed him by centimetres. The Doctor helped him up. Smoke clouded their vision.

"Can you see anything?" he coughed.

[Gandalf]

"Nope. Not a thing. You?"
