Questions on Fortify Restoration trick on Enchanting...

How do I do it? Do I drink many potions then wear the armor? How many potions do you need to drink?

What you need to do is make sure you have lvl 100 in smithing, enchanting, and alchemy just for good measure. Craft a set of fortify alchemy and smithing gear. (Falmer helmet, circlet, gauntlets, armor, ring, and necklace). Next, wearing your fortify alchemy/smithing gear create a fortify restoration potion. (abacanean longfin, salt pile). Drink it, then unequip your fortify alchemy/smithing gear and equip it again. Make another potion, drink it, unequip/equip your gear again, make another potion, unequip/equip your gear again, do this process a few other times, then make a fortify enchanting potion, or fortify smithing potion, or whatever potion suits your fancy and you're set. Drink the fortify enchanting potion before enchanting anything or drink fortify smithing potion before you smith anything. This will basically make you invincible if you craft a ring or necklace with fortify health/magicka on it. HJope this helps

Actually, this has been patched with 1.5, or so I hear.

I was able to do it after the patch but for some reason now i cant smith anything better than fine even if im not using any of my 5000000% fortify smithing potions or gear.

Oh yes, that is a bug that sometimes comes up. If you take the loop too far, you can break all of the crafting things in the game. I would usually stop around a 15,000% fortification, as it's all I need, and if you go too high things start glitching.

Does the time still move while your equipping/unequipped armor?

I wouldn't think so. Opening a menu should freeze time.

There's no need of getting those to lvl 100, BEFORE starting the process. As these are skills which increase by the value of the creation, you'll get these to lvl 100 REALLY fast.

That's because you don't have all the necessary smithing perks.
