Hello Fast Eddie. How did you find us?

I googled 'morrowind forums' and this was one of the top choices. I've got a decent laptop and am looking forward to returning to Morrowind and to checking out some of the incredible looking mods out there. Its amazing the time and effort fans have put into this game. I've played through most of the current rpgs out there, and even though they were good, something was missing from them. My discs are in the mail, and I can't wait!

Whats this about no drugs or sugar?.....not my sweet, delicious moon sugar....the pain!!

Nope, but this was brought up in another thread and I posted this. My first MW character was actually called Fast Eddie, in reference to Paul Newman's character in "The Hustler." I did house Telvanni and meeting Balmora's Fast Eddie is one of my favorite random gaming moments. Too bad he made no mention that we both had the same names. Not too many Eddies running around Vvardenfell.

Hey there! The real name's David, but my nickname is Boneyard, hence the screen name. While it sounds hardcore, I actually "earned" the nickname by being terrible at Domino's (I'm constantly in the boneyard)...

Anyhoo, I've been an ES fan since Daggerfall. At the time I was a punk kid (about 12) and was not only enthralled about the game itself and how massive it was, but that your character is naked without clothes

(ah, the good ol' days). My favorite ES game is still Morrowind. I still play it on my PC. I love that every piece of armor is separate (I'm an enchanting junkie), the story line, and how challenging it is, especially at lower levels.

Oblivion was OK. Didn't like the main story or how generic some of the game felt, but in all honesty, it was and still is a solid game. While I own Skyrim for the 360, I'm not all that "wowed". I feel as though Bethesda "dumbed it down". I miss attributes and stats, made the game much more challenging. I don't like how a female Bosmer has the same carry capacity as a male Orc, or that an Orc has as much magicka as a Breton.

A bit about me...I'm 28, divorced, have two wonderful children (twin daughters), and I keep it White and nerdy. Just a warning, I am an unashamed lore-nazi when it comes to TES. I'm sorry if I rub anyone the wrong way about that.

Thanks for having me. I hope to not only speak with fellow fans, but contribute to the site as well.
