Has anyone ever beat the main quest and That Counciler guy says something about "we need a new emperor.

And your like *Cough* Pick me *Cough* hes got the person who kindof(Remember martin actually did it) saved the world in front of him then he gives u imperial fragon armor which is kindof good but when u get daedric armor u forget all about the armor.

Why dont they make u the emperor ppl are like Kvatch Count would be boring in some other topic. But emperor u got awsome crap the Emperor Robe and shoes, A amulet of Kings copy(The emperors robe looks so plain without it ) And the key to go anywhere in the palace you got your room at the top you could get an elder scroll of your own lots of gold you could command Imperial legion soliders.(Mass army ) And could start war like where the Daedric Siege Machine was. There were Akaviri warriors there to fight(Lots of them and lots of Imperial Soliders)

And when you talk to someone they would increse Dispotion to 100 . and they would be Look its the emperor ) And you got alter of Enchanting and Spellcraft (yaaaaaaaa)

That would be totally awesome. You could get to go to council meetings and hear representatives talk for hours and hours about a 1% increase in the tax rate, or the necessity of building a bridge in a remote province that you didn't even know was there, or adjudicating a dispute between two drunken louts who just happen to be nobility. Oh! Oh! And maybe there could be a mod where you have to have trade negotiations with the ambassador of the frog people who live on a crappy island in the middle of nowhere.

Being in charge of things only sounds fun.

Well if you were Emperor you could always legalise the DB!

You said it perfectly though GenghisJohn, being in charge def only sounds like fun!

If you want to be in charge, go play Civ. If you want to have fun legally marauding about the countryside (or just skipping about picking the flowers!), enjoy Ob for what it is.

Necromancer's ideas (and others, partics on Kvatch) certainly do have a type of appeal, but it really is a diff type of game. Not to mention that to add all of that into Ob as well as what is already there would really be a budget-breaker.

.... mind you, shiny new Emperor robes wouldn't go amiss.....
