Ah yes, Prom. It went great, my mind was basically in nirvana during the slow dances... holding her hand... looking in her eyes... I know what absolute peace feels like... and all without thinking anything inappropriate! Go ZeRoc's brain filter! That's right, all I need from a girl is to be within a 1 foot radius and I'm satisfied with things.

Anyhow it was great, unfortunately we had a show earlier that day, and around here people have "day dates" (do people in other places make the date last all day?), which the show had to count as...(even though in the play she danced with another guy, and I danced with another girl... d'arvit.)

(incase I should restate facts here, in addition to being my best friend, and (in my dreams) my love interest, she is also a cast mate, and the younger sister of my 2nd best friend.)

Got a new adapter for my ancient, speedy laptop. Its battery can hold a charge, but for some reason it dies after less than a minute of being unplugged. So I guess that's also on the list of things to get, as well as a FUNCTIONING original Xbox controller.

I am going nuts trying to prepare for my business trip Monday. Not looking forward to flying in for 2 a.m. and showing up for work at 9 a.m., either.

I've honestly never seen any movie until at least a month after it came out, so that makes me "the backwards guy who waits for movie tickets to cost a dollar before going to see them".

Come to think of it, the only movie I've ever seen within a few months of its release was Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and I'm proud to be called a Sherlock fanboy.

It's not even 7 yet, but my day is already off to a wonderful start - I was woken up by my cell phone at 3, and saw that the message said something about salary money in my bank account (payday is on the 25th here, so I was like WTF?) I promptly went back to sleep. When I woke up this morning, I was rather confused about this sudden money, but luckily I remembered that there had been salary negotiations going on. Turns out they paid the increase out retroactively from the beginning of the year, which is really awesome.
