Should ace's April joke have consequenses?

Post by weka »

The cruelest of cruel jokes was played on all of UESP today, enough to drive a dagger of despair even into the heart of the hardest DB acolyte! To tease our dearest hopes of TES V, and then dash them so cruelly!!

So do you think that there should be DIRE CONSEQUENCES for ace62394?!!!

(we love you really ace!!)

If my memory serves me correctly I do believe he was already given 2 warnings very long ago. If this could be his third then.............

Ah, I'll just wait and let the community decide your fate.

A joke is a joke is a joke! Even a bad joke is a joke, unless it harms! Banned for making bad jokes? Ha! If so I would be banned from life! I am quite well known locally for having no sense of humour at all (I disagree! :p )

Think about it though, would you really want another TES game this soon? The big thing about TES is that they give it a break for a few years and come back with new ideas and a better understanding of what they need to improve on. I don't think there has been enough time for this yet. Plus, I don't think I could afford a system to run it right now. ;)

I say we think this out logically. Use science, people. First, see, we have to see whether or not he meant it as an evil vile cruel cold-hearted mockery of our very way of life, or as a fun, light-hearted joke. The manner to do so is easy.

First of all, the punishment for evil April Fool jokes is, obviously, to burn him at the stake. Now, what else do we burn? Anyone?

He should be placed in an abstract landscape stretching for miles in each direction and told that one of the shapes around him will take him home when he touches it but the rest will burn his fingers with the heat of a supernova and left to escape.

In the old country, we used to burn swallows and coconut shells for warmth. Odd, though: coconuts were not indigenious to the land. Bit of a mystery how they showed up.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
