One of the vagrants was now lying on the floor nursing his face and hip, whilst the other was too busy flailing his arm about in agony. Andarys kicked the 'flailing one' over with his stronger right leg, then stood on where he had cut.

Voryn's foe's greatsword was flung out of his grip as Voryn's scimitar bit deep into his flesh. With a final killing blow, Voryn struck the Nord once more with his blade, before turning to face Andarys and the thin Nordic man, a questioning look on his face, "What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.

Vindol was noticeably shaking now, "Oh, dear", he paused and quickly slid open a draw labelled 'That Chimer', he looked at the draw and back to the two chimer, "I suppose i'm forced to let you deposit your gold at the rate we had set earlier".

Andarys left the pouch of gold on the desk, "If I find one more piece of gold is missing than there should be, you know what'll happen".

Andarys lead Voryn out of the building and eventually they reached the main square, where it wouldn't be long till the collector made the announcement.

"Care to explain," Voryn muttered as they waited for the Collector, "Who were those people, and what dealings do you have with them?"

Andarys lent again a nearby wall and looked at Voryn, "Vindol, he is an errant banker, he works for one of the merchant-lords around here, but he isn't exactly high up in the ranks, thus he get's a building like that to work in", he paused, "The more money that is deposited with him, the more 'prestigious' he seems to his lord, i'm doing him a favour, without me and the few others that give him our money he wouldn't get far, and in return, he occasionally get's his hands to do us favours in return, what comes around goes around that sort of thing", Andarys then sighed and rubbed his face, "Usually it doesn't go sour, I wonder why he needs the extra money".

"Sounds like bad business to me," Voryn said dismissively, "I hope you know what you're doing." He set down his staff against the nearby wall and paused, "This Collector character should be here any minute now I presume."

[Kerr]

"Get on with it!" screamed Mel from the square.

Coincidentally, Hjurimn, the collector, with an almost regiment sized group of guard walked out of a nearby backstreet into the center of the square. The majority of the crowd had now hushed, most citizens of Windhelm knew Hjurimn's importance, he was not only the leading merchant-lord, but he literally owned nearly a third of the city.

Accompanied by two of what appeared to be his most senior guard, the old nord walked up some stairs onto a pre-laid platform for him to tower over the masses upon. Hjurimn looked around the crowd, he noticed Andarys and smiled. Andarys did not smile back. Hjurimn's expression suddenly turned serious, his face looked like it was made of stone, he opened his mouth, "People of Windhelm, as many of you know, I am an avid collector of artifacts, whether they be old gems, or creations of great minds, I seek them to add to my vast collection", he paused to breath, his small utterance had left a small cloud of mist in front of him, "Not the last, but the night before it, some of you may have witnessed three star like objects, hurtle towards Tamriel, if you are slow and do not know where I am taking this, I wish to acquire these items".

Andarys shuffled around unnecessarily, he was uncomfortable, things like these should be left untouched, but a small voice perpetrated the back of his mind, telling him this was right.

Hjurimn continued, looking around the crowd, he noticed the breton who had shouted earlier, he smirked at her, "I already know the vague whereabouts of the first object, my men have told me a large explosion, was witnessed tens of miles south of Falkreath, near to Pale Pass and the Alessian city of Bruma, I have to say, I do not know where the other two may be currently placed", he crack his shoulders, then resumed his former position, "Anyone who returns to me one of these objects, will be handsomely rewarded, and anyone who returns with all three of these items", he paused, "I believe may shock me so much as to cause my death", he chuckled.

After perusing the crowd even more, Hjurimn decided he would step down from his platform and with that the guards followed him back into the backstreet he came from. Andarys glanced at Voryn, then turned, "I'm definitely going to try and do this, I need the gold", he ignored his previous decision that these things are best left undisturbed.

Mel saw Andarys and Voryn and walked over to them. "So when will we start getting to work. I can hardly wait." said Mel. She was thinking about what the Orc could offer that would be better than all that gold.

[Crepe the Ashlander]

"Well", Andarys chuckled at Mel's enthusiasm, "If you are set on working with me, I say we leave today, beat the crowd", he calmed down and looked at Voryn, "Would you like to come with me and this young enthusiast, I say, the more the merrier, the better chance we have".

Andarys and Voryn were at a shady bank place, then went to the square where they met up with Mel, then the Hjurimn (the collector) made his announcement (albeit short), Andarys then offered Mel and Voryn the chance to come with him, that's just a summary of page 7

Name: Falraise
Race: Bosmer
Sex: Male
Age:young, early adult. about 20 human years.
Desciption: short. a good bowman. brown hair. tan-ish skin. gray eyes.
Background: Falraise is a renegade from valenwood and has been traveling north since he was about 14 years old. he survived off of scraps of more wealthy bosmeri folk, and was trained as a decent thief.
Personality: not much for conversation, he usually avoids strangers who dont come into contact with him. he will almost always turn on his "friends" if it means more fortune for him. he worships Y'ffre and nocturnal. he is a bit curious about the green pact so he tries to avoid plants and fruits etc. from Nirn.
Weapons:a standard bone bow with sinew (achillies tenant etc.). an iron dagger from when his father first showed him how to be a thief, which is what he stole, and a stone knife.
Armour: most of his armour is thickly overlapped leather and cloth. but he does have dwemer bracers.
Other Equipment: 3 neckelaces, and 2 rings he stole from a wealthy altmer couple. 123 gold pieces.

"I may do just that," Voryn said, after a prolonged pause, "If you are headed to the Pale Pass via Falkreath, then I see no reason not to accompany you, if only part of the way, as I intend to travel in that direction as it is, and it would be good to have some company on the road, especially in this cruel land we find ourselves within."

Andarys put his hand on Voryn's shoulder, "Ah, good good, maybe we ca talk more of Resdayn on the travel", he was smiling, although the extra company may mean it would take longer, 'the more the merrier' and 'safety in numbers' passed through Andarys' mind.

Ocoto walked over to his Khajiiti friend. "So, how about we team up?"

"Excellent. I was talking to a Khajiit and Altmer last night who said they might be interested in adventure. The Altmer looks like a powerful mage." said Mel, giddy with the prospect of adventure. "I'm sure they are aound here somewhere." Mel looked around but as she is rather short, she couldn't see them in the crowd.
