Re: Your Most Creative Name?
I always try to come up with something with a little whiz in it. And something that goes with the lore, more or less.
My current character is a Breton, so I figured I'd have to give her a name that would sound like ones typical of the Romance languages. Most Bretons have names that resembles French names from our world, and there are a few that sound somewhat Italian. But I decided to go with Spanish, since that is also a Romance language, and by using a Spanish name I could implement some references, because I study that language as my second foreign language and am a bit familiar with the Spanish and Latin American literature.
In the end, the girl turned out to bear the proud name Remedios Saavedra. The last name is a reference to the immortal author of Don Quixote (duh), and the first name is a reference to a number of characters in my beloved One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. Much as one of the several Remedios of the Buendia family had been locked up in a monastery, my Remedios - Meme for short - was isolated from the community for her teenage romance with a youth who turned out to be a vampire. Unlike her namesake, however, she broke free and travelled to Skyrim.
My other Skyrim characters are:
Umtaz gra-Marzol, a female Orc;
Kiara, a female Redguard;
and finally, Ezio the male Dunmer (once again, here I chose an Italian name because this character is the son of my Oblivion character, a female Dunmer Etanni Raalen, and Vicente Valtieri. Quite a heritage).

In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
I have all my characters have the last name Asaroux, and are breton, playing as descendants of the Oblivion character I completed SI with.
I also use vaguely celtic names, but they are all in the same vein, so I can't name one as the most creative one just now...

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
My first "test" character, where I played just to see how the game worked, was a Nord named Lysandra. Which isn't even close to sounding like a Nord name, it was a more feminine take on the name Lysander, who IIRC was an ancient Spartan who led their navy in a famous victory over the Athenians. I... just couldn't think of anything else and didn't want to sit there indefinitely in the character creation menu.
After that I started thinking more about what character I was going to create and what name I wanted to use, before I actually loaded the game. First character I played "for real" was named Sigrun, which according to the website I found for Old Norse names is a combination of the two words for "victory" (Sig) and "word" or "rune" (Run). It seemed appropriate plus I liked the way it sounded. She took the surname Stormblade after it was given to her in recognition of her military exploits.
Next was a Dunmer female named Eralane, which I got from a list of known Dunmer names in TES at the UESP wiki (I think).
Current character is Eydis Snow-Song, another Nord female. First name taken once again from a list of Old Norse names, the first half supposedly means "gift" and the second "goddess." Again I was looking for something I liked the sound of that also had a somewhat significant meaning. The surname came from a list of TES Nord clan names that I found at UESP.

Hmm, looking at the names in this thread makes my current characters name, Guy-San, seem pretty dull...
But I think the most "creative" name I've come up with is Light Yagami (reference)

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
Alas, there's little about my characters' names that is creatively original. They're all derivative of something else: a Breton spellsword referenced to a semi-legendary Celtic king, a Redguard arena champion I named purely for the fun of hearing the announcer call him out by name every time he won a match ("Victor, from the Blue Team..."). A Dunmer fighter whose name is based off the pun used as an alias for a character in one of Mark Frost's Victorian-era adventure novels (Is that too 'meta' for you?).
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
I currently have a few;
Drenvar - Nord - Barbarian
Named Drenvar in a split second for no reason.
Hannah Lysander - Breton - Wizard
Named Hannah Lysander after OVER 3 hours of thinking about names. I chose Hannah Lysander, not because I thought it fit a Breton wizard, or anything reasonable. I picked it because Hannah is a strong sounding name and Lysander is a son of Luna from the series Harry potter.
Koharu - Bosmer - Battle Ranger Mage
Koharu is a name purely of my own creation. I have been using it for most of my "main quest" characters whenever I play elder scrolls or a game similar.

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
Xanaphia - Used for elven females. Got it from a D&D manual years ago, and I always have at least one even character named Xanaphia.
Xolota - My Argonain. I love Axolotls, not quite lizards, I know, but still. Moved the A to the end and there we have a perfectly feminine name. (IMO, at least
)
Cinis - It's Latin for embers, ashes, cinders. For my Imperial character.
Caram - Mongolian for Tundra. My Orc had the ice blue eyes and it seemed appropriate, so I also gave her light blue warpaint.
Adohryn Phann - A play on words for my Dead is Dead character, a male bosmer, if you can't guess it's a play on "adoring fan" but pronounced [ah-doh-reen fah-n]
That's all my unique-ish ones so far, unless you also count Shaleen, which is unique, but I didn't come up with it, it's my name

When in doubt, I give the dragonborn a dragon name. Usually sounds awesome and makes me feel like I gave him a deeper meaning.

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
I can't remember the name of all my Skyrim characters but here it goes:
Gunthor of Midgard: Gunthor = name of the old viking and barbarian folks. Midgard = Earth. It was also a play on the whole "Of" thing. You know, like Ralof came from Riverwood, Lokir came from Rorikstead... You get the point. He's my male Dohvakkin. A Battlemage.
Morgiah Hlaalu: A Dunmer assassin. Name came from Princess Morgiah (Daggerfall), daughter of Barenziah. Hlaalu was her last name if memory is right. A copy without shame.
Vulsa Stone-Chest: Was a female Orc. Warrior. Was just messing with names and came up with Vulsa. Stone-Chest is a title that refers to her strong body. Died in the "Dead is Dead" challenge.
Hazim Al'fazir (or something like that): Was a Redguard Pirate. His name came from arabian/persian/indian culture just like most of the NPC's, I bet. Died in the "Dead is Dead" challenge.
Luccian LaCroix: Was my main character of Oblivion. A Vampire. Jack of all trades, you know. Created him in Skyrim but deleted hours after. Will probably make him again. Name came from a character of the Forever Knight series. Was also a play of "Lucien Lachance" a character from Oblivion (and this character's name was also based on the Lucien of the TV series).
Angoril Direnni: An Altmer, agent of the Thalmor. Gameplay was boring and made him vanish. Will probably create him again. Name came from the "Altmer Names" page of the UESP.
Shut-His-Eyes: An Argonian who died in the "Dead is Dead" challenge. A play of the many names that we see on the NPC's. Was a hunter.
Tarja Golden-Heart: The female Dragonborn. Tarja came from Tarja Turunen, former lead-singer of the Nightwish band. Golden Heart is a title that explains her behaviour.

Re: Your Most Creative Name?
All mine are named Mathias Flynnias respectively (Assuming I am an Imperial, which is about 90% of the time). My current one is Mathias Flynnias IV, and being a Lord in roleplay, the number is not just ordering, it's a lineage in which all mine are connected bar my Morrowind one (as the Nerevarine left and it didn't fit).
Then any others are normally a variant, so Mathias Flynn, Uriel Flynnias, Mathias Septimus and so on. I'm a sad sort.
