Pfffffffffft!

That dash is a mystical bond that has formed this Ukulele band.

Right. Everyone knows the handsome, brooding drummer is the mystical bond that forms a band.

So today I will be giving my first ever ukulele lesson....over Skype! I hope it goes well, because this may open doors for me to give other lessons in the same way! Wish me luck!

Today I watched this great show called Blank Screen: The Revolution. Pretty boring after you know it's not going to start... :P

No, but today I'm just hanging out, and hoping that I can lie to my dad, saying that I'm going over to a friend's house tomorrow so that he doesn't have to pick me up. Hopefully it works.

Sweet! I just recently got a Uke, too! Maybe we could get a Uke band together you and I?

We could call it "Half S'wit"

Whatcha think?
That is really clever.

Today is going really really really really well. Thank's God/Jah/Allah/Yahweh/Annunaki/reptilian aliens/grey aliens or whoever else is responsible for my existence.

Plants are growing, the breeze is blowing, and the sun is shining.

More importantly I hired a contractor that is in the process of making me money, and she is proving to be really good at it. I've a bit more work to do myself but it's all good.

Life once again proves to me that whenever I enter contests, or any kind of thing where I have a chance at losing, even if it's a bloody 0.000000001% chance, I still bloody lose the chance.

Pretty much every single thing where I'm in some kind of position where randomness could effect what happens.

Which is why I now hate every single contest runner who uses randomness to pick.

Mh. 99% of people are losers, when it comes to things like that.

Well, let's wallow in our loser-ness together.

He's talking about Team Fortress. Why anyone cares about that games backstory is beyond me.

That could of only been more impressive if you said that while in full cowboy gear on the back of a raptor.

No, someone hosted a poll about who would win in a fight, and Saxton Hale did, I think.

What a day.

First, I barreled through my workload in the office, which I learnt is a horrible idea, since it's always the productive ones who get the workload dumped on them. Nevertheless, I just have to remember to step back, take a deep breath, and keep on moving.

Then, I got to the train station, where I was able to have yet another glorious episode of my long acclaimed series "Waiting for the Bus" (aka "Waiting for the Train"). I started to jokingly post these on Facebook about a year ago, each based on the bizarre things that happen to me throughout the day on public transit, and it became a huge hit. Today I had a man try to tell me he liked my shoes so much I should take them off so he could examine the soles. When I protested, he goes, "What, you got stinky feet?" Needless to say, much to the delight of my friends, I think this is finally going to become a blog. It's too precious to pass up.

Afterwards I learnt how to tune my ukulele, play a few chords (C, F, and A, specifically), and that my fingers are going to be very sore because of this string business. I don't have a lot of feeling in my left hand, which is the hand that navigates the neck of the ukulele, but I can sure feel my fingertips gone numb from strings! It was super fun though.

And I just finished editing a paper for a friend. This is my first true love, editing, so it's nice to do it here and there. I wish I had remembered it sooner; it's now midnight and I've only got six hours of sleep ahead. Oh boy!
