Just for the record, can we all post our rolls in a spoiler tag, as sometimes other people's rolls will have bearing on other players

K'yor unslung his battleaxe and charged forward, swinging overhand and driving the axe into the nearest skeleton's chest, shattering its sternum and continuing into the spine.
The skeleton fell apart and dropped to the ground in two jagged pieces.

Spoiler:
I rolled 32
Denemus charged into combat, he jumped up into the air, and swung his axe down. The skeleton just dodged, then Denemus leaped back off one of the walls too fast for the skeleton and swung across the left arm of the skeleton before it could attack him back.

The arm dropped to the floor, and before the skeleton could counter-attack with his right arm, Denemus unleashed a flame spell on the body of bones, flinging it back against the walls and destroying it.

With a wild, primal cry, Maera charged at the nearest skeleton, spear held high. She violently slammed the blade into the Skeleton's face, letting her momentum carry her through. The spear shattered the brittle skull, and the Ashlander slammed into the now-headless creature, driving it to the ground. With another war-cry, Maera repeatedly slammed the haft of the spear crosswise into the Skeleton's ribcage, splintering the bones with relative ease. She stood, giving the shattered remains another kick for good measure.

I would say this is too easy, but then I'd be worried about what Duruza would decide to throw at us.

Denal drew his sword and bashed a skeleton's face with his shield. When it staggered, he drove his sword across the skeleton's chest, severing the ribs. In two lighting-quick moves, he severed the Skeleton's legs from the knees, and then the head, before it could even fall.

Don't worry 'bout it, this battle was supposed to be easy! Wouldn't want any of you to kill yourselves against a bunch of skeletons before you could even start your mission :P This battle was just an intro to the system, you all performed very nicely :o

The last of the skeleton fallen, Andril beckoned for the others to follow him. They moved down another side passage off the main burial chamber, descending further into the bonestocks.

They moved through an elaborate arch into another antechamber, from which they could see before them another, larger burial chamber. Below them, seated on what looked to be a throne, was a Breton in exquisite black robes, a staff resting on the throne beside him.

"This is one of the tombs of a minor lord," Andril explained, "I know not why this necromancer has chosen this particular location to work his Dark Magics, but he must be stopped, the bonestocks are of great significance on more than a religious or cultural level, within the bonestocks lie the ancestors that Morrowind may yet have need to call upon to aid us once more."

As the group approached the echo of low, unintelligible grunting resonated around them, and they observed two dead thralls, the guards who had been slain earlier that day upon discovering the disturbance in the bonestocks.

"Let us release their souls and relieve them of this tainted undeath," Andril declared determinedly, "But we must bring down the necromancer swiftly, lest he call more minions to his aid."

Spoiler:
Two rolls of 30 or a single roll of 40 is necessary to kill one of the thralls. Two rolls of 35 or three rolls of 30 are necessary to kill the necromancer. The more rolls that take place, that the necromancer lives for, the more minions he may summon. Basically, if you're the first roll, you're wounding, but not killing, the foe you chose to target, setting up the kill for the second, or third as the case may be, rolls.

Just for your imagery, I picture the bonestocks as a bunch of interconnected burial chambers, with large domed roofs, beneath the city. The group was just in one of the smaller burial chambers, the deeper you go, the larger the chambers get, with a completely massive one in the very centre at the very deepest point.

"Then let us cut off the head of this defiler first!" K'yor whispered, sneaking forward until he was noticed by one of the thralls, the undead lurching forward in the start of a charge.
K'yor had enough time to bash the beast back with the pummel of his weapon, followed up quickly by placing the palm of his hand on the thrall's chest and igniting its flesh.
It started flailing wildly, the khajiit dodged one of its burning arms and vaguely aimed a strike at its head, striking instead its neck; the headless undead dropped to the ground as K'yor leapt back slightly from the flaming corpse.

Maera viciously attacked the feature Ralos wounded, shoving her spear cleanly through it's chest. As she tore it out, bits of flesh clung to the serrated head. The creature keeled over, and Maera stabbed it again, through the skull.

Spoiler:
In answer to Gideon's question, yes, I believe Avron has dropped out, but Leyyuce and JV are going to be joining on at the next available story point

35

Andril sprinted past both thralls as the others engaged them, instead, focusing his attention on the Breton. He brought his blade down, but the necromancer was quick to block the attack with his staff, which shattered on the impact. The Breton cursed and, diving to the side, cast a spell, conjuring a skeletal guardian between himself and Andril.

Spoiler:
Now we have a skeleton guardian - one roll of 35 or two 25s to kill, and an injured necromancer - one roll of 35 or two 30s to kill. Failure to roll 20 or more results in injury. Crepe and Matt to roll.

Spoiler:
I rolled 44 (I think that's the highest roll i've ever got in my life), now that necromancer is going down!
Denemus noticed Andril was in a bit of bother, the Necromancer had summoned a skeletal guardian, he started shouting as he sprinted towards the necromancer, "How dare you defile the bonestocks! Do you know any respect!", Denemus charged at the necromancer and leapt up in the air.

The necromancer barely had any time to dodge and Denemus came crushing down on the breton with his shield. Before the breton could even roll away from Denemus, the dunmer smashed the shield down on his head. The necromancer gasped then Denemus slammed the flat of his axe down on the skull.

Spoiler:
There was a Skeleton Guardian wasn't there? Anyway, moving on, I guess it was easy enough to take it that it died with its master.

The Skeleton Guardian crumpled at the death of its master, once more a mere pile of bones, and the room fell silent. Andril sheathed his blades and turned to the others, giving them a general look of approval. "Let's get back to the surface," he announced, leading them back up through the catacombs and to the Council Hall.

Upon their arrival Danasi rose from a deep conversation with several Dunmer in bonemold, and two other figures, who appeared to be officers, and smiled warmly. She nodded to her men, and guards were dispatched to clean up the mess they had left behind and to resecure the area. "You have done well," she declared appreciatively, "but you have not yet earned your rewards. Now you go from Solstheim, to pressing matters in the south of Morrowind. Andril will explain further, but first, I would like to introduce the remaining members of your party."

She motioned towards the two remaining figures, prompting them to step forward.

Denemus smirked at Maera, "You fought well down there, I think my opinion of the ashlanders has risen greatly", he chuckled.
