Well, in first place, thank you for all. I will leave the forums. I just dont play Oblvion anymore. I will on Star War-ish forums (such as The Force.net or Old-Republic.com (my very first forum I registered) and Filefront forums. I was active i the Empire at War game forums, I modded a bit there.
I will be here sometimes.

Deandra - Thank you for your teachings. Your padawan :D
Weka - thanks you for your talks. P.S. I found you very Eowyn-ish
TrogdorCronus - This isnt a goodbye at all, maybe I will see you around at wookiepedia, etc.

Sure, playing Arena may be a somewhat legitimate reason...

You don't have t'leave the forums just because you don't play Oblivion. Hang out in General.

While we're in share-care moment: I don't post here much, because I don't play Oblivion or Morrowind at the mo, and the General is a depressing police-state forum (the kid-gloves need to come off. But they won't).

If I get back into Oblivion, then maybe I'll have some questions for you Oblivion gods. But three words and a roman numeral mean my gaming will be taken by one thing alone as of April 29th (i think):

No it's not! It's just appropriate for these forums! There's gazillions (I know, cause I've just counted them all! :wink:) of other forums out there where you can discuss all the types of subjects that you want to, but this is uesp! Elder Scrolls!! :D

I like that General hasn’t degenerated into the faceless murk of so many other General forums. And I thank our wonderful mods for that, who have stood firm in the face of many opposers!! :D

weka; I know and understand the reasons and all, and I previously accepted them 100%. But I really do like a bit of rough & tumble - of the debating variety - and when r's post concerning the budget was locked instantly, it just kinda put the final nail in the coffin.

This place has a broad demographic, from hot young stud-muffins like myself - to ancients like you. :D So its General has a lot of potential. And the gold's stuck down far underground, with no plans to bring it up.

This makes me: :cry:
Well, okay it really doesn't - but it'd be intrigueing to see some real topics being mulled over by the UESP's intrigueing collective.

Yeah, but there are so many other places where you can debate that, it's just so common-place, and we don't want to be common here do we?!! :lol:

I def pref uesp w/o politics.

Besides, it's specifically mentioned in the rules as being out of bounds, so there really was nothing for the mods to do but lock it straight away. It was a clear breach of a rule that's been here for a long time.

But I really don't want to get into yet another long debate about what should or shouldn't be here anyhow. All of this has been gone over so many times before, and for me at least, it boils down to the fact that we are guests here and I pref to (at least try to be!) a polite guest.
