Does Lightning Storm hurt Followers?
I am curious on whether I should get it.

From the UESP page for Storm Call:
The lightning hits targets randomly and may hit friendlies, who may be killed by the strikes. Followers may also be dismissed automatically upon being struck by lightning.

Can the lightning go through solid objects? For instance, under a bridge?

long one, it depends on the object, I've seen guys be hit through some things, but for the most part no it depends if the thing is really "solid" and not made to just look like it.
