Spoiler:
You might want to move Gideon away from the entrance to the cave where he could be crushed/stabbed/burned any second now.

Leileena helped move Hali and Gideon away from the door. She did have experience pulling deer corpse to be cleaned but it was mostly with magic and/or help from her father/mother. She being a mage wasn't cut out for doing this. Still had to be done.

Arathir assisted Leileena as it seemed she was having trouble. Backing away into the cave, he hoped that the tower chunk would fall soon.

"Did any of you see Kerin or Ben?" he said, looking around.
Spoiler:
@Matt: We decided to, yes. Some opted out of it and had their characters killed, but we decided that those who wanted to will continue the story with a plot parallel to that of the journey of the Warden.

"Ben's coming. Don't know about Kerin, I think he's dead." Leileena responding, huffing a bit from having to pull two heavy people wearing heavy armour.

Ben ran through the horde and was almost at the cave. Something inside him made him stop. A true soldier does not abandon his king! He knew that he could never live with himself if he stayed. Ben looked to the Wardens, to Leli, and nodded in a final farewell. He then picked up a blade and ran into the Darkspawn masses.

"For Fereldan!" Ben exclaimed, and hacked at the multiple Darkspawn around him, cutting them down like grass. He severed a Hurlock's arms from its body and turned to face more when the Shriek pounced. Ben felt an exploding pain in his shoulder and his lower back as he fell to the ground, his blade clattering away, the Dawkspawn on top of him. He flipped to face his attacker. Ben punched the Shriek in the face, but all it did was enrage the beast. He roared in his face, its saliva spraying down on him.

Ben rolled, taking the Shriek with him, punching it and avoiding its blows. It raked Ben's face with its claws, leaving huge gash marks and a torn nose. "Maker give me strength!" Ben shouted as he headbutted the Shriek with all his might. It flopped over next to him, unconscious or dead, Ben didn't care.

Ben tried to stand, but found he couldn't. He felt his neck numbly. Several teeth from the shriek were embedded in his neck from the headbutt. "Damn..." Was all Ben could muster as he slumped over, darkness enveloping him.
Spoiler:
I hope to create a new character. I felt that it was necessary for Ben to die, plus I don't think he could have run away.

Arathir quickly pulled Leileena into the cave just as the section of the tower collapsed in front of the entrance. The chunk of rock perfectly fit in front of the cave entrance, sealing the remaining Wardens inside but sealing the darkspawn out. Only a small bit of light filtered into the cave.

Arathir struck a nearby torch and looked around. A week of food was stored for a battalion of soldiers; which meant there was more than enough to support the Grey Wardens for more time than that. This did little to comfort Arathir, who was still reeling from Loghain's betrayal, and the deaths of both Kerin and Ben.

"...bandages. Medicine. Poultices. We need to help Gideon." he said, looking around. An ogre slammed on the chunk of rock from the outside, but was unable to move it. Arathir knew that they would be safe for the time being. If the darkspawn made it through, they would at least be able to trap the cave and fight the darkspawn on their own terms.

"A healing potion would taste really good right now," remarked Gideon. With a note of surprise, he realized he was still clutching the sword he had picked up on the battlefield.

"I know you can't see anything right now... so get a grip on this." Arathir said, putting in Gideon's hands a powerful health poultice he had been saving in the case of his own injury. He knew that Gideon needed it more than he did.

"No." he said with a sigh. "I've been a Grey Warden for almost ten years and that's the single largest invasion force I've ever seen. There's no doubt in my mind. This is a blight." he said, with a sigh. "That means that they will be moving on eventually. Going to destroy whatever they see. So far as I know, we're probably the only Grey Wardens left in Ferelden." he said, looking around for bandages. "Not even Duncan could have stood up to all of that. I'm certain that with a damn dragon attacking the tower, that Alistair and whatever recruits passed their joining are all dead as well." he said, shaken to the core at this point.

With shaking hands, Gideon swallowed the poultice. Immediately there was a warm sensation throughout his body, and all his hurts seemed to fade away. But he still couldn't see.

"My eyes," he murmured. "How do my eyes look?"

"I'll be honest." Arathir said. "I don't think you have any eyes left, Gideon." he said, shuddering at the sight. Holding some bandages, he wrapped them around Gideon's face to hide the grotesque sight and to stop the bleeding.

Spoiler:
I think the poultice probably stopped the bleeding. So now there's just some heavy scarring.
"Thanks," said Gideon, as Arathir finished applying the bandages. "This is an interesting turn of events."

"I'm not sure if there is any way to grow back missing limbs, let alone eyeballs, even with magic..." Leileena stated. Silent tears streamed down her face and she fell to her knees clutching her book..."That...that wasn't the largest force either..."

However he is probably dead......

Also Gideon is so badass he doesn't need eyes.
"Why didn't Loghain help us? Why did they fall back?" asked Airmed. She put her head in her hands. She was sad, terrified and tired.

"Hell if I know." Arathir said, punching a wall. "That Maker-forsaken traitor! He just sent the entire Fereldan Grey Warden company to their deaths along with thousands of soldiers and mages! What the hell is the reasoning for this?"

Vision? VISION?! We don't need no stinking vision!. He's basically now Aragorn, with the minor handicap of being constantly blindfolded.
