Re: 4E211: The Way of the Voice
Name: Dravesi Rathlass
Race: Dunmer, yo
Sex: La femme fatale
Age: 17
Birthsign: The Apprentice
Appearance: Even though her race has cursed her with grey skin and violent features, she retains her own special charm. The ever so slightly pointed nose, her long auburn hair and full lips take the eyes away from her Dunmer brow, and her shapely body makes all forget about the colour of her skin. Her eyes are pitch black, for reasons she won't divulge.
Personality: Devious, ambitious with little regard for other's feelings it is hard for her to make true friends. Not that she cares. There are more important things than friendship. The arcane and the way of the voice are more important than anything.
1 Major Skill: Illusion
3 Minor skills: Destruction, Alchemy, Conjuration
Freebie Shout: Yol
3 Other Shouts: Feim, Zun, Krii
Backstory: She was instructed in the ways of the arcane at a young age by her parents. They saw sending her to High Hrothgar as a way for her to increase her knowledge and power and didn't think long before casting her away without giving her a say in the matter. Though she was furious at her parents, she continued studying magic on her own, through books and notes they gave her as parting gifts. She treasures these notes to this day, even though she claims to hate her parents.

Name: Erandil
Race: Altmer
Sex: Male
Age: 17
Birthsign: The Mage
Appearance: Dark blonde hair, down to his shoulders. 6 feet tall, narrow-medium shoulders, blue-green eyes.
Personality: Quiet, though assertive when he needs to be. He is slightly racist towards Argonians he does not know, but is overall accepting of all races. He is a connoisseur of fine foods, and is an avid cook himself. He looks down on bloated warriors, and much prefers magic and deception over outright bloody combat. (think Rarity
)
Major Skill: Destruction
Minor Skills: Alteration, Speechcraft, Alchemy
Freebie Shout: Yol
Other Shouts: Iiz, Tiid, Feim
Backstory: Living in the Summerset Isle as a child, he was very interested in the Arcane. His father was a mage, and therefore taught him much. He specialized in Alteration and Destruction magic, and was very good at both. (hope this isn't too brief)

In my defense, Dravesi is a full-on spellcaster. She has to protect herself somehow.Deandra wrote:Sooooooo many people picked FEIM as one of their shouts...

That's so we can jump off the side of High Hrothgar and get to the bottom alive.

Every shout can be used in ways that aren't really thought through in the game.

Re: 4E211: The Way of the Voice
Same with spells, I hope? (i.e. Flames spell lights firewood, fear spell doesn't just make people flee . .) I know it sounds like a dumb question, I just want to be sure. XDEltee wrote:Every shout can be used in ways that aren't really thought through in the game.
And will Illusion magic include charm-type spells like in Oblivion, as well?

Any spell from III, IV and V will be included. However, no crazy master level stuff. You're apprentice-like level in your minor skills, and journeyman-like for your manor skill. Spells can be used creatively.
I'll fix that for ya, Gid.

Glitchy Dark-Welkynd stones hurt. As do Skyrim's soul gem traps, plus traversing mountain side and using it to fall off the mountain without injury is an unorthodox yet usually efficient way of travelling especiallyf or an altmer mage avoiding scrutiny.Deandra wrote:Sooooooo many people picked FEIM as one of their shouts...

Nevermind about Whirlwind Sprint, I can't believe I didn't notice Slow Time the first time through. Definitely Tiid.
