Rp ideas for daedric princes

Which daedric prince would you like to see an rp of next. (I would like to see one featuring sheogorath.)

Not a Game as such, but a Shivering Isles RP.

Sanguine's Revelry, which is also current, and there were plans to do it away from the UESP so it did not have to be as family friendly, iirc.

Hircine's Hunt, which will most probably see a return in Hircine's Hunt II.

Hermaeus Mora's Labyrinth, which we may also see again.

And:

Boethiah, the Prince of Plots, who rules over deceit, conspiracy, secret plots, murder, assassination, treason, and the overthrow of authority, is also a lover of competition and battle. Boethiah's Tournament therefore has two elements, battle and deceit.

A dozen of Boethiah's Chosen are called to take part in a Tournament to the death over 6 Days, eventually resulting in one survivor who will be named Boethiah's Champion.

Each round, with the exception of the first (which begins in Day), follows a cycle of Night and Day. Boethiah's Chosen do battle from Dawn until Dusk until one is slain. At the end of each day of competition one of the Chosen is rewarded by Boethiah for their performance in the day's challenge. The Night is a time of respite, but each new Dawn one of the Chosen is taken by Boethiah as a result of a secret ballot amongst the Chosen.

Unity and cooperation are essential to victory in challenges and survival through the Night, however, there can only be one victor and one Champion of Boethiah.

Mechanics:

During challenges the Chosen fight a manner of foes for Boethiah's amusement under a number of circumstances. In each case, the death of one of the Chosen is required, in some cases it is necessary for the survival of the other Chosen and the Chosen themselves must choose.

Further instruction on individual challenges will occur each day specific to the upcoming challenge.

After Dusk each remaining player PMs the name of another player to the DM and the player who receives the most votes is killed at Dawn the next day and is immediately out of the game.

Oh God, I knew I had forgotten one, I literally made the post thinking, have I forgotten, have I forgotten, I really hope I haven't forgotten one! In my defence, Mephala wasn't on the poll, and all the ones I mentioned were, or were ones I was directly involved in

Of course, the hugely successful Mephala's Web, in both the original and second editions also exists.

I believe there was also talks about a Peryite RP, a Meridia Zombie Survival style RP and I think a Vaermina RP could also have potential. And of course, we have the widely popular Molag Bal Games.

Havn't most of the Daedric Princes also appeared in The Marukhati?

I could be wrong, I havn't actually read all of it.

Yeah, all the Princes bar Mephala, Malacath and Molag Bal have 'children' in The Marukhati, who are the RPers, but the focus is somewhat different from the recent 'Games of Daedric Princes' trend.

I am aware of the existence of the other stated rps except the sanguine one and the shivering isles one. I was thinking if anyone wanted a new rp featuring a single daedric prince and which they would want first.

Also I really want in on an rp but I don't wanna start in the middle of one. Seeing as I'm new to this forum what's the best way to get into an rp that's in the beginning stages?

Yeah, I figured that, I just thought that if this thread is going to be used to coordinate more Daedric themed RPs, existing and past RPs should be taken into consideration, and plans for future RPs should also be considered.

Namira seems popular it seems, if you're looking for an RP to do. I myself don't have anything solid on that front in terms of ideas, but the Lady of Decay surely has some potential. I also think the Meridia Zombie Surivial RP idea that I remember comming up in the Future RPs thread has potential, although I forget who suggested it and whether they had plans.

Like I have said I haven't done a roleplay and don't know if I would be a good DM to do a roleplay but I have been going over some that people have posted... I suppose namira would work hmmm...

You might want to join 1 or 2 RPs before trying to host one yourself, so that you get an idea of what works and what doesn't.

If anything all you need to be a great dm is a good story, and a really felxible plan, along with interactive characters, but I suggest you do what Deandra suggested, or maybe a couple... like 4...

If you have never done a roleplay, I would suggest at least reading through one or two of them, just to see what it's like. If you can, join in one. You will have a great time, make new friends, and see first hand what this stuff is all about! (NINJA'd!)

Being a good DM has a lot to do with the plans that you make ahead of time. If you have a detailed story and plan of how to get the characters there, then you will probably be considered a good DM. The participants are vital to your story. There are several users here who are phenomenal at writing and creating characters! If you can get some of them involved the RP will be that much better. Of course, many of them are in quite a few RPs already .

And if you want to be a really good DM Rule with a iron fist and poke everyone in the roleplay with a stick.. A LOT! (I joke.. maybe.)

I was hoping to come back to this poll once I have some experience and attempt to DM one of the princes with the highest votes.

The Molag Bal games probably aren't the best example of a RP, since they're basically a TES-themed game of Mafia. Or are you saying you want to invent a forum game based on another Daedric Prince?

I would encourage Mr. Poot to read The Marukhati. While there are some...interesting scenes around pages 110-130, for the most part it has an excellent story and great characters!
