Re: beast form question
What do you mean underpowered?
I think it fits the lore very well, and especially at lower levels, it's overpowered if anything.

Because there's no fun to be found in being normal.

For me it's just right. You can kill easily and be killed easily(provided your enemies have the right weapons for the job).

Re: beast form question
Well, if it kept on getting more powerful, the game wouldn't be any challenge, now would it?
I think it's fine the way it is. It fits with the lore, and that's ultimately the most important for me.

I'm curious in what category do you put bugs.Meta-entities?Jesus...toast123 wrote:a Chaurus is more of a bug i mean animals as in elk, cows etc
Yes cows, elk would be very nice and logical as a food source for a Werebeast.

And biologically, bugs are a subcategory of Animalia, the realm of animals.

The one time i used the beast form was during the Companions revenge quest. I thought it would be fitting to massacre the hunters by ripping them apart as a werewolf. I think I was about level 40 as I had waited quite a long time before doing the Companions' questline. As some have pointed out, the beast form becomes underpowered at higher levels. I didn't last two seconds. When I reloaded I avoided the transformation and let the damn hunters have a taste of my fire enchanted ebony great-sword.
Anyway I chose "Don't care", as the only reason I haven't cured myself is because I like the disease resistance, I actually hate the beast form. During Hircine's quest I had to reload because I transformed and never turned back. It was quite annoying.
Re: beast form question
I think it is just right. At level 40 beast form can tear through bandits, falmer, and foresworn and many other rank and file monsters but has problems with boss level characters, like master vampires. That seems about right to me.
I think one way in which it doesn't scale as well for my character is that you sometimes need a lot of health to run around in beast form, but most of my level ups go into stamina. I think it might work better if you got a boost to health or more health regen or something like that. A beast form perk tree would be nice too.

Re: beast form question
It needs to be leveled properly. At low levels you take like no damage and kill everything in 1 hit, while at high levels (hell even like lvl15) you die way too easily and do barely any damage.

Re: beast form question
I think perhaps the "days as werewolf" thing should be used to power you up, longer your a wolf, more powerful you are. That would be a little more balanced i think even if it just increased your armor rating. As it is a lvl 1 were would be a lvl 1 vamp, but a lvl 40 vamp would wipe the floor with the were. I kinda wish both were fleshed out a lot more
