I spent all day today making an elaborate, 63x90 cm map depicting nothing in particular.

Sporadic Sunday Roleplaying: World of Darkness and D&D 4th ed.

Got home and watched War of the Worlds featuring Tom Cruise. Yet another reassuring reminder that one can lead a successful and happy life while being simultaneously certifiable.

Odd... I watched War of the Worlds (for the first time) last night too. It wasn't that good... :|

Lots of good things.

- I passed the exam of tributary law.
- I recived the benefit from my exam grades for the university tax (-40%),
- I recived the letter confirming four years of payed contributes for my military service, again with benefits,
- I went on a coffee with a nice girl, the coffee was good, the girl was good and life is good...

Indeed a good day...

Good for you, Arterion!

Today, I had sucky Science, then sucky History, then crappy Music. We don't learn anything in music, she just gives us a sheet and expects us to know what to do!

And now I have to finish 4 pages on Microsoft Word by 9:00pm tonight.

Sounds good! (Also, it's "received." I know you asked for help to double check grammar and spelling!)

Today has been wickedly productive...except for this morning. We got new bus drivers about three weeks ago on all the lines, and my new one is a pain in the behind. He tried to leave me behind today - I had to beat on the bus door as it passed by. He actually neared the bus stop, slowed down...and then, instead of stopping to let me on, kept going. When I clambered on finally, he skips "Good morning" and starts yelling at me before I got up the first step. "You weren't even looking at me!"

Fun fact: I was looking right at him. I even offered him my usual morning smile as he neared. So I took out my headphones, said, "Look, sir, it's a bus stop, isn't it? Doesn't that mean you should stop? I'm here every day and you always stop, so why not today?" He just kept talking about "You weren't looking!" even after I took my seat and put my headphones back on. He kept going on and on, loudly, to whoever would listen.

He's such a pain. Last week he did something similar, where he had to detour and asked if anyone was getting off on my street. I said I was. My stop happens to be at the far end, though, not the beginning, so apparently he thought I was inconveniencing him by making him drive the entire route, even though I told him I misunderstood him. He went on very loudly the entire time. I was so embarrassed.

Tomorrow I'm bringing a red scarf to flag him down matador style.

His behaviour sounds much like the mating ritual of baboons and chimps, maybe you should avoid red.

How would an italian approach to the problem?

Simply, he would embarass the driver, ridiculing him with jests and feats of wits until the driver would have to submit and play his proper role in society, as a subservant person.

How would a slovene approach to the problem?

First day: remain stoic
Second day: remain stoic
Third day: use the heaviest thing in your backpack to smash the driver and the autobus glasses..., simple yet effective...

Why is it always during the best conversations that you end up walking into doors?

Is this meant to be witty, informative or deep? I doubt I can manage all three.

I am smelly, tired, have sore hands and a sore neck. Which means I have been working again today! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!
Unfortunately, they have no more work for me now. But the two shifts I have had were great! Now I am off to a shower!

So now I am no more the working man :(

In other news: So it was our Queen Magrethe birthday today... pfff. Like I care. And our beloved millionaire Mærsk McKinney Møller has died. I think that is sad, because he is one of those people I love, people who are not born rich, but made his own fortune.

Today I did more standardized testing. However, that is not what I'd like to talk about. While I was doing my testing, I was sat down next to this, *cough*, hot girl. All I wanted to do the entire time was to go over there and say hi to her, though I knew I couldn't, and I'd never see her again. My question is, when situations like this arise, what is the best way to calm myself down? :|

IMHO the best way is: don't think about that girl, and keep your mind busy. Sing a tune (in your mind of course!), read/think about a book, plan what to do when you get home...

Just to know, why couldn't you go there and say hi?
