Llarays nodded. "It's a plan, better than none," he said. "And you do know that I know some healing spells, some invisibility spells. Hey, maybe if the Daedroth notices you, I could cast a Shield spell."

"If it gets past Qa'Mhirr and I, charge it with spears." He said. "We should be able to take to take it down if we press it hard enough."

"Damn..." Llarays said, flicking through the various spells he knew in his mind. "I will charge it with spears, yes. What if it survives that? Just ad-lib the fight and rely on instincts?"

"That's the only thing we can do," Thoryn mused, "Even the best laid plans don't always go as proposed. Let's just get on with it." He gritted his teeth and took an on guard stance for an additional time, positioning himself beside the pike he had planted in the arena earlier, but not yet come to utilise.

Spoiler:
Leiden and Qa'Mhirr must both roll a 30 sneak roll. After that, the Daedroth will take 3 rolls of 30, from any characters, or two rolls of 35 to kill. Failure to roll a 30 by any rolling characters will result in injury, and 25 will result in death. Please wait for Qa'Mhirr to roll his shock spell, and Leiden to roll his sneak attack before rolling. Each gain a +1 due to their sneak attack
Leiden managed to pick up his spear just before the gates began to creak open. He ran over to Qa'Mhirr, and hunkered down on his knees. He closed his eyes, and put his hand on the back of the khajiit, and they both disappeared. Leiden watched as the hulking beast trudged into the arena, and towards Thoryn, Llarays, and Nightrunner. Leiden slowly moved towards the beast and...

was completely unnoticed. He silently, like a ghost, moved in behind the huge hulking beast. Qa'Mhirr...

Qa'Mhirr crept forward, being mindful of the daedra's powerful tail, finally within striking distance.

His armed surged with lightning, almost so much that he was worried the crackle of electricity would give him away, he straightened his mechanical digits outward.
Thrusting as hard as he could, barely even breaking the Daedroth's hide, his arm went quiet as the lightning leapt into the monstrosity, "NOW!"

Spoiler:
You were supposed to roll again for your attack Chaos :P I roll a 43, which means if you roll a 35 or higher, this thing will go down. I'll wait until you edit your post with your roll before I write my post.

ROADCONE *doh* I asked you to WAIT until both Qa'Mhirr and Leiden had attacked. Remove your post.

Spoiler:
Chaos, you needed a sneak roll, and an attack roll
The beast went into spasms as Qa'Mhirr shocked it. Leiden knew he'd only have one chance. Screaming, he jumped on the back of the beast, and rammed his spear through it's neck. It roared, and swung side to side, trying to throw him off. He let go of the spear and dropped to the floor, narrowly avoiding the beasts tail, rolling out of the way. "CHARGE." He yelled, drawing his sword.

Thoryn leapt forward, putting all his weight behind his shield as he hurtled into the Daedroth, knocking the beast back momentarily, leaving both he and it momentarily vulnerable.

Spoiler:
35 EXACTLY.
Leiden flung himself at the beast, in one last desperate attempt. He jumped at the Daedroth, sword first. His sword dug straight into his chest, and into it's heart. It roared, looking down at Leiden angrily. He twisted his sword, and it roared again. In a last ditch effort, he did the unthinkable - punched the Daedroth in the face. And the unthinkable happened - it went down. It fell luckily backwards, and Leiden fell straight onto it's chest.

"[&@%!] YEAH!" He yelled, falling to the ground, laughing. He pulled his sword out of it's chest. "WHAT MORE CAN YOU DO?!" He yelled. The crowd screamed, in triumph. "ENOUGH!" Boethiah's voice cried out. Thunder and lightning shook the arena. Shadow filled the arena, and the form of a woman appeared in front of them. "How DARE you." She said. "How DARE you question my power, even as my hand is at your very THROAT. You will die, and you will die by no hand but my own. Draw your sword, and face me if you dare."
Spoiler:
The Avatar of Boethiah requires 4 of 30, 3 rolls of 40 or 2 rolls of 50 to kill. A minimum of 29 must be reached to avoid injury, and 25 to avoid death. If the entire group is injured or dead, I will allow a SINGLE replay of the battle.

Spoiler:
49...damn close
"Khajiit would think the prince of plots and deceit would be used to being questioned!" Qa'Mhirr laughed, almost insanely, and he braced his arm up; the mechanics acting sluggish after channeling so much magicka through it.
He charged his arm with lightning again, with greater potency, so much so that steam and sparks escaped its housings.
Focusing deeply, he sent the electricity into his loaded bolt and let it fly, sinking into the right leg of Boethiah's visage.

Llarays mockingly shouted at Boethiah, loading his bow. He released the Bonemold Arrow, letting it glide in a curve, hitting Boethiah's avatar squarely in the forehead.

Spoiler:
36 :/
Drawing his sword Nightrunner charged forward, Cutting downwards in a stroke with all of his weight behind it. The avatar parried the strike as if it were easy. Cackling with laughter it aimed a solid blow at Nightrunner's chest. He was forced to dodge backwards so rapidly that he fell onto his back, his sword flying to one side.

31 - I believe that will do it yes?

Thoryn jumped forward, leaping towards the avatar of Boethaih and bring his blade down in a vicious arc. The Daedra parried the blow, but Thoryn was relentless, stabbing forward, driving his blade into Boethiah's chest

Spoiler:
41. TIME TO DIE
Leiden watched as Thoryn stabbed Boethiah, and took his chance. He took one massive swing, and cleaved the head off the Daedra. A horrible scream erupted, and the whole arena shook. The world began to evaporate around them, and before long, all that could be seen was darkness...

Until a light began to grow in the distance. And stars. And water could be heard. Slowly, a new world came into view. And a woman... Azura. They were back in Moonshadow. "You succeeded." She smiled. "Though not without cost, I notice. I apologize for not warning you about Veriax, but I feared it would cause you to lose morale. He will be missed."

She approached Leiden, and in her hand was a dagger. She handed him the dagger. "Even when the odds are against you, this dagger, wielded for the right reasons, will always protect you." She then approached Thoryn. In her hand was a star. "To the most righteous of individuals, I give you my Star. Look over it with care." She approached Llarays, and in her hand was a bow. "The arrows from this bow will fly straighter and hit harder than anyone else." She went to Qa'Mhirr next. "Noble Khajiit, you have paid the price for this expedition, but you will be just rewarded." She handed Qa'Mhirr an amulet. "This should quiet the voices... should you choose to ignore them." Finally, she went to Nightrunner, and to him, she handed a sword. "You have acted in defense Argonians all your life, until you came here. I pray that this sword will steer you back on the right path."
Spoiler:
Basically, everyone gains a +3 roll bonus. I'd write individual bonus's, but I don't have an actual skill scheme done up. I'll consider doing that for F:2, and possibly add a trait/perk system to add the whole bonuses thing I'm so fond of adding :P
"Now you must go. Continue on your quest. There will be hardships... but it will be worth it." She said. The world began to disappear again. The real world reemerged - shining lights, birds chirping - and no more Daedra.

Nightrunner sat on the ground heavily, he was lost for words, the sword he had been given was absolutely magnificant. It's edge was so straight and so sharp that it could be used to shave. it glimmered in many different colours depending on which way he held it. One moment it was a deep metallic red, the next a regal dark purple. His mind was still in shock, what had just happened to him was rather difficult for him to comprehend. He lay back and closed his eyes, sword across his chest. He didn't feel like doing anything but resting.

 Not sure if you need a bucket to let that blood drip into.
Llarays looked at the bow, silently in awe. Testing it, he let an arrow loose into the sky, seeing the beauty of the flight.

Qa'Mhirr took the amulet and threw it over his neck, turning it over in his hands, "It looks like Khajiit's lost moon amulet," he sighed heavily.
He watched Llarays's arrow soar into the sky, "Qa'Mhirr can barely hear his voices speaking," he whispered to himself.
Spoiler:
Obscure reference: the last line is a play on a line from the Wizard of Oz spoken by the Tin Woodsman, "I can barely hear my heart beating!"

Thoryn examined the Star contemplatively for a moment, then spoke, "Where are we?" he asked, "We should consider moving on to Vivec."
Spoiler:
Colour me confused, I thought Thoryn's attack killed Boethiah, considering it was preceded by 3 scores of 30 or more, but not 3 of 40 or more :P

"We still have a city to claim." Leiden said. The Daedra had only strengthened his resolve to get it done - if not for himself, for the people who had died to get them there. "We make for Caldera. It should only be a few hours away, but from there, it's straight on to Vivec. All the reports I have seen say that there was a diamond mind to the northeast, which I want to check out." Leiden looked at the dagger Azura had given to him for but a moment, and started the trek to their destination.

"Hold up," Leiden said, getting down on his knees. They were just outside the small town of Caldera, and it was clear that others had known about the diamond mine too. There were Argonian Raiders everywhere. Most of the town had been decimated. "Do we move on, or try to take the town? We'll have to go by here on our way back anyway..." He said. "And who knows how many these raiders have killed? They're not part of the invasion force - these are just looters and bandits."
